“Terrible bed side manner!”
I needed tubes. As an adult, I wanted to be asleep during the procedure. He argued the point, scheduled the procedure for the next visit in the office w/o my approval. I refused the procedure when discovering it was scheduled for that visit upon arrival. He slammed the door as he left, very upset. I had the procedure done as out pt. The following week with twilight sedation. I then had reduced/muffled hearing. He also injured my canal (cut) while inserting the tube and did not tell me. He refused to acknowledge my pain, discomfort, & hearing loss. Said it was nothing to be concerned about! I then went to another E.N.T., who removed the existing tubes & replaced them with shorter ones. The longer tubes were obstructing the ear drum' s movement, causing the muffled hearing loss. This older experienced Dr. Said it is very common for this to happen in adults. I absolutely recommend you RUN as far as you can away from this unprofessional, arrogant, uncaring man. This was by far the most frustrating experience I have ever had.......just say NO!
