“ER doctor gives 5 minutes and will not accept insurance”
When you are admitted to an ER you do not have a choice in who your doctor is. This doctor spent hardly any time with me and did not accept my insurance. His office sent me a bill for my co-pay that I paid upon receipt, then 5 months letter sent another bill for over $250 and threatening collections. His office explained they were not in network and would bill what they wanted. Awful doctor who genuinely cared nothing about my All Night Long stay in a curtained off ER partition with No Care and is just out for the $$$$. I was never diagnosed, just released after 15 hours of hell is a nationally ranked awful hospital.
