This facility and Dr. Chandrashekar are the among the best in the country. I drive 2 hours to get here. I had a stapedectomy done and was done perfectly. After 3 months I went from stone deaf to 80% hearing. I would very highly recommend Dr. Chandrasekhar and this facility. The staff too are excellent

Dr. C is very good, and my experience with your doctors generally has been good. ENT though is very hard to deal with. Like an inefficient government beauracracy. The most simple request can take forever, starting with a call center. In my Sept. visit with Dr. C, either she or her nurse forgot to include a prescription that Dr. C in our session said she was prescribing. It took 3 calls and roughly 4.5 hours to eventually get it.

From the restructuring her booked for 2 months schedule to accommodate my sudden hearing loss to the calming effect she had on myself and my wife when she first examined me, Dr. C is the only ENT anyone should ever see. She explained her clinical findings and offered treatment that has restored my hearing significantly. When I arrived I could not hear 110 db, the equivalent of a jet engine. Three series of intros tympanic injections a few months later, my hearing loss went from profound to moderate. Her guidance and insights for future ear protection has proved invaluable. Wish she was closer, but she is most definitely worth the trip and the wait! Thanks Dr. C, you told me you always win, you won with me!!

Dr C is delightful, what is not delightful is the wait time in the office. My appointment was for 1:40 and I finally saw dr c around an hour later. I was taken in the exam room and my blood pressure was taken and then i sat along for 20 minutes waiting for the Dr. Another thing, the waiting room is noisy and full of hearing impaired people . I am 100% deaf since Jan 2020. Hopeful that will soon change with cochlear implant procedure less than 2 weeks ago by Dr C and her team. The doctor and her support staff have been supportive and helpful. I'm compelled to add- My deafness has been mitigated somewhat by a Google app called Google Transcribe which became available in March 2020. The app is quite good. Medical professionals were ALL very impressed with the capabilities. Problem is that the app requires strong Internet signal, preferably though fast WiFi access. The Wayne facility doesn't provide WiFi for patients and cell signal (Verizon) in the office is spotty. Conversation with Dr very challenging (not Dr fault). Patient Internet would be quite helpful. I've been a member of the deaf community for one year and have unfortunately seen how underserved this community is. Apologies for using this to assist this minority segment of population who are so deeply underserved. Try relying on cc you'll see how bad it is.

I went to my GP for clogging ear problem. Turned out to be a buildup of wax. She tried to flush out the problem with warm water. That wasn't fun. She recommended hydrogen peroxide, which made the problem worse, maybe it was too clogged. She referred me to ENT Associates. I made an appointment for the next day. Dr. Denny Varughese,MD was very nice, patient, efficient. He had this suction thing that looked a little alarming, but worked immediately. I can hear again. If you find yourself in a similar situation, skip the water flush and everything else and go straight to this guy. Fixed the problem in 5 minutes. Not even much of a wait at the office. He was great, and I'm not a calm patient. I have a Panic Disorder, so everything is 10 times harder than it needs to be.

Dr. Chandrasekhar was great! She really listened and set my mind at ease. I spoke to her about a previous experience with another ENT doctor and she really listened to what my concerns were. It is important to note that more time was spent with the staff than the doctor as i was having allergy testing done. The staff was terrific at explaining how things were going to be done and what I could expect. Really knowledgeable staff here. Once done, Dr. Sohn came in and went over the test results with very clear explanations of what was learned and what was to be done going forward. She discussed all my issues with me as if she had no where else she needed to be. Now that is a great doctor!!! (Besides the fact that she was truly helping me solve my sinus difficulties!)
