“Strange”
I don't think this woman is still in that office anymore we never went back after my sons second session. We felt this counselor talked down to us rather then to us. She confused my son by naming off diagnosis that only a doctor would understand when we asked to explain so that we could get an understanding our of sons condition she seemed bothered. We were questioning ourselves for awhile wondering if we were bad parents not understanding what her theory was. Thankfully a few months later we found a new counselor that was much more to our liking. We were told this counselor should have provided better ethics and explanation we were happy to know it wasn't us. On our last visit I mentioned to her that we had found a new counselor and explained why. She basically told us that she never spoke to us that way and we were making it up. I did not bother to argue further I was courteous to let her know we were switching and walked out. We kept getting bills for a good year for services we did not receive. Last I heard she was no longer there but I haven't been back personally. I would not recommend this counselor at all very rude and unprofessional the entire atmosphere was strange. My son is doing much better with proper diagnosis and treatment through a different provider.
