“Empathic and Kind”
I credit Heidi with so much of my growth and recovery from PTSD. After seeing many therapists with no results, I went to Heidi desperate for real change. She is kind, compassionate, thoughtful and yet is able to balance that with professionalism. Something many therapists lose along the way in treatment. Heidi helped me achieve an awareness of where my actions stemmed from and gave me the tools to cope with the effects of my disorder. She guided me through all the rough situations with clear goals in mind. After seeing Heidi, I was able to understand myself and, most importantly, love who I was. She taught me to practice what she called "Self Care". Since then, I have had a richer, more fulfilling life and she gave me the courage to be a better me. If you have PTSD or ADHD, please consider seeing Heidi. She may be the turning point in your life, too.
Thanks, Heidi! You were a godsend!
