“Felt Impersonal”
I visited initially and follow up visits were done by his PA. He set me up for a thyroid test and a nerve test. I had another doctor in another city and when I visited him, he wondered about the tests as he said that I had not shown signs of having problems in those areas. As it turns out, Brodie's office called and said that the tests showed no problems in those areas.
The second time I saw him personally was a year later. He sat at a desk with his back to me. I mentioned I had foot pain and he concluded that I had broken my toe. After x-rays it showed no breaks, but arthritis. I told Brodie and he said it was broken. (He had not seen x-rays,)
I am still seeing my old doctor and on the hunt for a doctor in Naples. I mentioned this to a diabetic friend and she said she had started seeing Brodie. I told her of my experience and she informed my that at the first visit, he scheduled her for a thyroid test.
He seems to understand a lot about diabetes, but I was uncomfortable with him. His PA is a wonderful comforting person to work with.
