Javier Pica, PT, is well versed in treating CRPS/RSD as well as other neurological and orthopedic conditions. He does an excellent job in explaining things and gives excellent care. He works well with both adults and children. He explained how to properly rehab my condition to me when, after 13 months of being diagnosed, no one else had accurately explained how to properly rehab my condition. My minor daughter, who developed the need for physical therapy services, is being treated by Javier as well. For both my daughter and I, our lives literally changed overnight. Javier was sensitive to this and continues to be a great asset in helping us adjust to our new lifestyle. He has remained positive and available if we found there was something about our care we did not understand. He is a very caring, compassionate and fun to work with gentleman. He communicates well with the other therapist in the office and works as a team with them. He has gone out of his way to meet my needs. Gina Barkley, OTR/L, is well versed in treating CRPS/RSD as well as other neurological and orthopedic conditions. She does an excellent job in explaining things and gives excellent care. She works well with both adults and children. She is a master when it comes to suggesting items for assistive daily living. If she can't find what you need, she will create it. She has been instrumental in giving both my young daughter (a minor) and I our independence back. Her desensitization methods work and alleviated the need for higher pain medication levels. She listens to her patients and goes out of her way to help her patients and their family members understand how to live and cope with their condition(s) if their condition(s) cannot be cured. She explained my condition to me when, after 13 months of being diagnosed, no else had accurately explained my condition to me. She helped me come to terms with a chronic, life long, diagnosis. My daughter has a different life long, chronic pain condition than I and Gina has met her on her level and helped her come to terms with it. For both my daughter and I, our lives literally changed overnight. Gina was sensitive to this and was and continues to be a great asset in helping us adjust to our new lifestyle. She has remained positive and available to my daughter and I even after discharge if we found there was something about our care we did not understand.
