“Highly Recommeded Dentist”

I met Dr. Urbankova through my friend who is her patient as well. I had a tooth sensitivity for couple month after I had filling done by my previous dentist. I came back to evaluate why I am sensitive but I was told I need root canal instead and nothing can be done. Then I was recommended to see Dr. Urbankova. She re-did the filling, there was decay left behind. She is very detail oriented, which is so important in dentistry. I am a hygiene student. My tooth is saved, and I am not sensitive any more! Thank you very much!!!

Dr. Urbankova's goal is to provide the least invasive procedure in order to save your tooth/ teeth. She has removed decay on teeth that other dentists would relegate to a crown or implant. She has skills that are not common among dentists!

Coming from the field of science and medicine, I appreciate how up to date the practice is. (use of rubber dams, lanap offering, her emphasis on Preventative care is important because her practice is looking out for the long term health of my teeth
Every hygienist I have had is very detail oriented, attentive, and knowledgeable. Perhaps over qualified compared to those in other practices.

I would like to keep her as my dentist even if I move off long island or new york.

X-rays and preventative care is thorough. Cost is explained and office is good at working with insurance companies. Dr. Urbankova is very skilled technically, and her experience allows her to deal with any complications quickly and easily. “The best dentist I have ever found!!”

I first came to Dr. Urbankova several months ago. This was on the recommendation of Sofia, her hygienist. My first impression of the Dr was of a person who looked at me not just as a patient. She was also interested in me as a person. Her treatment plan for me was clearly explained. She's an out of the box thinker and very meticulous with her work. Dr. Urbankova is the most expert dental practitioner I have dealt with, and I have dealt with many before her. She is absolutely committed to the concept behind the name of her practice, i.e., preserving rather than replacing teeth. I have had serious peroidontal disease for over 20 years and since coming to Dr. Urbankova (and her colleagues) my condition has been stabilized without surgery or tooth loss. She also has filled a few minor cavities, and I much prefer the resin she uses to metal.

“The best thing to happen to my mouth”

I came to Dr. Urbankova several years ago for a second opinion on an implant, and I never went anywhere else. Her interest in saving my teeth has been above and beyond. She has changed my mouth full of cavities into a healthy smile. I especially enjoy how she thoroughly explains every step of the way, so I always have a full picture of what and why. She is amazing. I recommend her to anyone who will listen. Her staff is also professional and friendly.

“Best Dental Office Ever!!!”

I am traveling 60 miles each way because l am treated well and above in this practice where in other offices I did not have such a good experience. I am treated like a family member and the doctor insures and explains everything as it should be and takes great pride in patient care. Further more my Dental Hygienist Sofia is by far better than other Hygienists I have had in the past and that is why I travel the distance and I would follow her to the moon.

“Miracle at Preserve Your Teeth Dentistry”

I was about to loose most of my teeth. I had gone to many dentist and they all told me the same thing! i was a lost case with my mouth, until i was introduced to my saint doctor......she told me about the laser surgery and i realized that was my only hope. Now 4 months later I feel like a different person 20 years younger. My mouth is clean and without pain. My mouth is best condition in my entire adult life time. I was to 100s of dentists and did not find the care until with Dr. Urbankova.

Dr Urbankova is all about preserving your teeth and preventative dentistry. She is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, having been both a practicing dentist and professor for many years. Her approach is holistic, integrated, gentle and natural. If you agree a logical and better approach to dentistry is to do everything you can to preserve your teeth in order to avoid invasive surgery, then she is the best dentist you will find.

Sofia the hygienist is thorough, efficient and caring. The best cleaning I've ever had!! Today, I had laser pocket disinfection (LPD) and I can already feel the difference. The treatments in this office are amazing!! Dr. Urbankova is an out of the box thinker. Her way of dentistry should be that of all dental practices. She truly cares about her patients and the wellness of their teeth. The entire staff are kind, knowledgeable, and professional. You could not find a better practice!!

“Sinus Lift sucess”

I was worried about having a sinus lift before an implant. I couldnt have the implant without it. It was a difficult tooth for implant and the sinus lift would also be a challenge. Dr. Engebretson did the procedure with skill and sensitivity. I did not have any pain and the healing went well. Dr. E and Dr. Urankova are a great team and have to be one of the best dentists in the city!

“Best dentist I've ever had”

Dr. Urbankova is not only an expert in preventative dental medicine, but is a compassionate and conscientious person who devotes time and energy to her patients. I have been going to Dr. Urbankova for over 8 year now and she works on me and my whole family. There is no one else I would trust with my teeth knowing she is doing what is in the best interest of her patients as well as their teeth. I am very aware of peoples mouth because you look at their face when you talk to them , not at their shoes. If someone does not take care of their mouth, what is their rest of the body like??? I have to say, coming to see my dentist, Alice Urbankova, is one of my smartest decision I've made in my life. Not only she saved one of my deep cavity tooth but also my wisdom tooth, Before I came to Dr. Urbankova, I was told I need to remove both of my #15 molar tooth and the wisdom tooth. I was even told nothing can be done to save these teeth. But, nothing after seeing Dr. Urbankova. She saved both of teeth and done a beautiful job on them. It's like a miracle to have my both teeth saved by her. And I am grateful, thankful and appreciated her professionalism, respect and her great knowledge in dentistry. My experience is one of the most highly recommended, there is such care and communication between Dr. Urbankova and her patients. I have never met a dentist that would email me back at 10pm if i have a problem and she has done it several times. That shows there is a caring to preserve my teeth and a dedication to getting my mouth back to health. The office is beautiful, clean and friendly.
I totally recommend Preserve Your Teeth and Dr. Alice Urbankova is so friendly and kind. She responds with the truth in a way that makes you want to take charge if your own dental health.
Carolina (the dental assistant) and Ariel (the office manager) are fun and wonderful and we sing together. It made the procedure I had, fun.

Dr. Urbankova is always willing to spend as much time with her patient as needed in order to provide the best care. If you get your filling done here, it will last really long. If you don't want to do root canal and looking for a dentist who is ready to take a risk and do pulp cap instead and save your teeth, this is a doctor for you.

“I can finally laugh again! Laser saved my smile.”

Dr Urbankova saw my condition after an apiceoctomy, which I needed after a failed root canal. I came into the office in such pain and discomfort after this procedure done in another office. Dr. Urbankova suggested she use the laser on me in a procedure called biostim, which has helped me so much. It was the help I needed! I sat for about an hour or so with laser treatment and my face swelling went down, my pain was relieved tremendously, and finally I could laugh again. I am coming back tomorrow!

Dr. Urbankova is extremely knowledgeable and efficient in her work. I was having pain in a tooth that had a filling done 20 years ago which doctors have told me should go for a root canal. I came in to see Dr. U who explained to me how avoiding a root canal would help protect and keep my tooth. There were three fractures on the tooth that Dr. Urbankova discovered when she started working, which she sealed and covered. Now, my tooth is stronger, and no root canal!!!
My appointment today went so well, the laser she uses in the office disinfected the bacteria inside that was causing my pain in the first place.

WOW 10/10 so happy I finally have a dentist who cares about saving the life of my tooth.

My husband and i had various issues with our teeth. We were on the verge of many root canals and possibly removals. I was never a fan of going to the dentist. My mouth was super sensitive. Cleanings were unbearable. I came to Dr. Urbankova on recommendation of our pediatric dentist. She started me down the road to dealing with sensitivity and early stage periodontal disease. I have seen / felt such improvement that I can't even believe it. I just informed Dr. Urbankova that she may not move away or retire as long as I'm alive and needing a dentist.

I came with a severely decayed tooth I had been told to best be removed, with a root canal being an alternative,but supposedly not advisable option. Dr. Urbankova thoroughly analyzed the situation, then ended up preserving the tooth using a pulp cap and an onlay. From diagnosis through the stages of treatment, she explained her strategy, risk consideration and the big picture in all detail and I always felt well taken care of. A scientist myself, I appreciate her thorough, analytical approach. Definitely recommended!

My surgical procedure was expertly attended to with utmost care and efficiency. The placement and implant was so successful that even after moderate post surgery pain, within 3 hours time the pain was so slight, I did not need any pain medicine at all for 5 days and current.

I came in after my regular dentist refused to redo the fillings in my front teeth, insisting that I get crowns. I have been using Dr. Urbankova and her practice for over 5 years with perfect results. The team here really helped me from needing almost all root canals to saving all my teeth one tooth at a time. They are extraordinarily helpful in turning my oral health and therefore my general health around. COVID was a hard time in my life quarantining for over half a year and they were up and running about a month ago, and this is my second visit since. The attention to detail is unmatched. I went to Dr. Urbankove since she is in the technology centre where I have my company and my dental problems were not being taken care of by another dentist and my treatment by him was not to my satisfaction, he bluntly said he had to extract several teeth. I disagreed and found Dr. Urbankove who had advanced techniques using laser technology that was advanced beyond any dentist I had known in the past. “my chronic fibromyalgia symptoms got better after treating my mouth”

Dr. Urbankova understands not only mouth but the body as well. I have a chronic disease for 20 years and my mouth has been failing me for years. My life has changed for better after I met providers at PreserveYourTeeth Dentistry.

“Overall best care, atmosphere, and proactive care I ever had.”

They are minamally invasive and use state of the art technology (Laser) that not only has improved my recession but has kept me away from any surgeries, and have not needed anything fixed or replaced since work was originally done. Most Caring and gentle dentist I have ever been to and would'ant have anyone else care for my teeth. Truly goes above and beyond!

“The best dentist that I totally trust!”

Dr. Urbankova did a detailed examination of my teeth. She used top notch laser technology to deep clean my teeth. In addition she educated me how to take care for my teeth. She is excellent dentist that I totally trust, and would recommend to everybody!

“Very glad I came. It was an extremely positive experience”

I initially came in to address two teeth that had advanced cavities. However, after a full mouth consultation, it was determined that I would also need LANAP. I was hesitant at first, however after I completed the treatment the health of my entire gums and entire mouth DRAMATICALLY improved. It is night and day. My energy levels have also went up. I can't believe how much of a difference this has made to my teeth, my mental alacrity and my overall health. It was worth it, and I would recommend this treatment to anyone.

“The best dental office”

Dr. Urbankova helped me a lot. My front teeth had tetracycline stain and was told it was impossible to change colors without invasive veneers. Instead she did series of whitenings and my teeth are now bright and white without spending thousands of dollars on veneers. I never thought it was possible to correct the color without crown and veneers. I am 100% in trust of her and would recommend her to anyone who needs a good dentist.
Dr. Engebretson is the best periodontal oral surgeon. He performed three crown lenghtening on me to correct failing crowns and then Dr. Urbankova replaced them with new bonded crowns. My teeth feel like a different mouth. Laser treatments are rejuvenating and keep my mouth fresh and healthy. No more tender gums! I trust Dr E and also would love to recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good oral surgeon.My mouth is like 20 years younger.

“10 of 10 points, Dr. E and Dr. U are the greatest dentist i ever saw...”

I had a lot of problems and everything turned out 180 degrees. Now I can eat, and smile. I had no hope before. Again for these doctors challenge is what they embrace with success. Now I get compliments on my smile that was restored with no crowns but artistic bondings that did not cut me teeth. It is a pleasure to come to the office. it is clean and calm. I travel 3 or more hours there but it is worth the effort.

“this was a miracle of re-doing two badly infected upper left rear implants”

i went to this dentist after three badly done gum surgeries. they did incredible surgical work to restore my gums and then replaced the infected implants with two beautifully placed implants. the combination of periodontist and dentist working side by side is amazing. this is the most advanced dental work i have ever had done. the lpd cleanings are fantastic to keep your gums around crowns from getting inflamed and infected.

“Life changing”

Finding Dr. Urbankova was a miracle for my dental, and mental health! After my assessment, she was aware of the long journey this would be, and also advised me of the all the costs, time, and effort it would take on both of our ends. After my consultation, I believed she was my last hope, and she did not disappoint. She began with splinting a loose tooth in the frontal area and later followed up with a 2 day LANAP surgery. These procedures were life changing and I have never felt better! I am so grateful to Dr. Urbankova and her team for all their efforts, advise, and support. I would recommend her to absolutely everyone with dental issues such as myself. You will not regret the decision. Thank you Dr. Urbankova!
