“Professional yet friendly, great rehab care”

I had a chronic neck pain since almost a year due to cause unknown. Dr. Reema not only helped me recover from it, but also recommended lifestyle changes and preventive care to avoid further discomfort. I’ve been sleeping better, and my range has improved in my day to day activities.

“trust the process”

He has been great throughout the whole process. We talked about my goal of being able to return to rugby as soon as possible. me being a kid just wanted to get out and run as soon as i got out of the brace but he slowed me down and showed me how much work had to be done.

Over a decade on and off. Russell has managed a number of different conditions (mostly caused by being an overambitious athlete at my age). While not always obvious, his techniques lead to fast recovery and comfort - the best!!

“Incredibly knowledgeable and great attitude”

He takes a very medical and knowledgeable approach. I've been to other physical therapists in the past and none of them had the knowledge of anatomy and the human body like Russel has. Nor has anyone else had the very positive and encouraging approach which he has. He has also given me various different exercises that I can do by myself at home or at the gym. Highly recommended.

“Thoughtful, talented PT”

As another patient put it, "she has magic hands". I was diagnosed with a frozen shoulder and my orthopedist recommended surgery, but thanks to Dr. Varlotta and Ekta I am regaining the use of my arm without it. I am also in significantly less pain. I am really greatful for the care and support I have received at Recovery PT.

Andrew really goes out of his way to help his patients. He really makes sure you feel important. He helped me return from my injury regaining my confidence in my body. “Russell is the reason that I can walk and stay mobile depite my knee arthritis.”

Terrific. He listens to you and comes up with ingenious ways of solving unusual problems. My patella in my arthritic knee was off center and he was able to center it through the use of tape. This has lead to a much more normal gait than I have had in the past.

“Very happy experience”

When I came here I was in a very bad condition with my shoulder. I had trouble wearing my coat, and had problem combing my hair. All of these daily activities caused me pain. I was so worried that this painful situation would go with me forever. It is Russell's skillful treatment make me recover. He is very patient, and he smiles all the time. I came to Recovery PT because I was in an automobile accident. The progress that I have made with Ekta has been wonderful. Although, I still have days of pain and discomfort, when I come to PT she always asks me "How I am doing"? The treatment for that visit is always geared to targeting the area of discomfort. I am not sure what my actual recovery will be in the days to come, but, I am very pleased with Ekta, and feeling somewhat sad that I will probably be bringing my sessions with her to an end.

Dr.Lund is very thorough in her analysis regarding injuries and what causes them. She evaluated me and showed me muscle imbalances and weaknesses that I needed to correct to live pain free. “Helped rehab calf strain by identifying muscle weakness and developing a strengthening and mobility program”

I hurt my calf in May from running and Ekta helped rehab it by offering me calf exercises and identifying other parts of my body that were weak. She was attentive and helpful and explained what she was doing to me at length. When I hurt myself again in my calf Ekta spent time to develop a more detailed program and now I'm finally back running after three months (in Aug!)
