“Like a new wrist.”

For years now I've been experiencing pain and numbness that would come and go in my right hand. This was due to carpal tunnel. Dr Papas thought upon evaluation that he would be able to help me. While undergoing Regenexx treatment, both he and his staff were very understanding of my anxiety. It was comforting. The pain during treatment was minimal and there has been no pain, and minimal numbness, since treatment. He tempered my expectations immediately after the procedure and stated that it may take several weeks to feel the entire effects, but I would say the results have already met and exceeded those. I would not hesitate to see him again.

“Life Changing Experience”

I've been dealing with Morton's Neuroma pain in my right foot for about a year, and was diagnosed with cubital tunnel syndrome in my left elbow two years ago. I had been getting cortisone and alcohol injections for my foot regularly for several months at my podiatrist, and it seemed that the pain was getting worse. I met and spoke with Dr. Papas at the race expo for Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic, where I first learned that platelet lysate could be a good option for both my foot and my elbow. I scheduled an evaluation shortly thereafter, and he confirmed with ultrasound that he believed the procedure would help. It's been 6.5 weeks since the procedure, and I'm walking normally again without pain, including barefoot at home - a huge improvement from where I was before. I can also keep my elbow bent for longer periods than I previously could without pain, and the pain is less. Dr. Papas made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend him!

Expectations beyond exceeded. Very thorough. Personable and trusting.
Dr. Papas was able pin point and eliminate the source of my Lowback pain. As well as my knee pain post MVA.
He also treated my hips and shoulder !

“Amazing transformation!”

I was in a car accident that left me broken in more ways than one. I didn't understand what to do as far as my post recovery was concerned, so I took the advice of my Attorney, who was just trying to help, and I ended up going through Chiropractic treatments that didn't help. All of my treatments ended and I was no better than before, so I started doing research about what would help a herniated disc instead of going through surgery to replace the disc. I went to a Doctor I follow named Dr. Axe and he suggested Regenxx was the best option for my injury. “Pain Free at Elbow for first time in 1.5 years”

Had an issue at the elbow where there had already been surgical intervention for a distal bicep tear. Dr.Papas did a proper diagnosis of the issue. He knew the name of every muscle in the arm by memory. I had been to multiple Orthopedic doctors & was not able to receive a proper diagnosis throughout even with MRIs & Xrays. I got PRP for what is known as Tennis Elbow. I was pain free two weeks post procedure, & would highly recommend Dr. Papas to anyone looking for non-surgical options or for a second opinion. Dr. Papas is one of the smartest doctors I have worked with, & you can tell he is in this field for the right reasons. I had been having increasing R/L knee pain, in addition to my right knee "locking up." I brought my dvd's with me; Dr. Papas also did his own ultrasound, which I very much appreciated. He explained everything as he did the ultrasound. Diagnosed the issues. Recommended Visco supplementation (Hymovis) in addition to PRP shots. Good outcome. Very pleased. “Excellent! Best treatment for my ankles I could have asked for”

Both of my ankles were a mess from previous sprains and fractures. Here I was in my mid 30s thinking I was going to have issues with swelling and pain the rest of my life. Did NOT want surgeries. Dr. Papas spent more time with me than any other provider had in the past. He provided a clear description of my problem and and clear plan for the blood platelet treatment. The treatment worked exactly as expected. I followed the post-procedure instructions and physical therapy plan. My symptoms are gone and I have more stability in my ankles. It's like they were never injured. I would recommend to anyone Dr. Papas and Regenexx to anyone with joint issues.

“He was absolutely outstanding !!”

I have spent 2.5 years trying to get relief from right knee pain, had surgery, other stem cells, prp, acupuncture, PT- seen several other surgeons and Drs - no one really spent the time figuring out what the root cause was. I had edema in the bone - which turns out is very painful and debilitating . Dr Papas spent an hour with me actually really listening to me and reviewing MRI and ultrasound and found the edema right away. He had a plan which in his experience has proven results! “Dr. Valastro had read my history file and was primed and ready to proceed.”

Dr Valastro was excellent at each of several visits. My first visit with her was remarkable. I have a long history of injuries and surgeries in my file, which she pre-read, noticed a pattern of care and jumped right into fixing me up like she had always been there doing it for years. Her intra-joint needle placement and injections were some the best, smooth, swift, and near painless. Dr V did PRP in a few joints, thoracic nerve ablation, Lumbar nerve ablation and lumbar coddle. These were separate visits over 11 months. Each time she was calm, told me all I needed to know, I not once needed to start at the first injury story to get to out task of the day. Best nerve ablations ever; I’ve had lots in the past 20 years. I have difficult features to work with: cervical fusion, cervical artificial discs, lumbar artificial discs and fusions, genetic arthritis in spine, hips, knees, ankles, etc.
If I lived closer, Dr Valastro would be my forever Go To pain specialist.

“Highly Recommend - Wish I hadn't waited so long”

Dr Leiber has helped me immensely. I was told I needed 2 knee replacements due to arthritis. I'm only 55 yrs old and to me, knee replacements were out of the question. I elected to go with the platelet treatment first and it's truly been amazing.

I have 85-90% less pain in both knees. I can do so much more than I could prior to the procedure.

I am so very grateful for Dr Leiber and his staff. Dr. Leiber really cares about his patients- this comes through in the time he spends with you, getting your background and trying to understand each patient's individual situation.

My husband also had the platelet procedure for his shoulder. He was bone on bone and in constant pain. Now he has 90-95% less pain.

We are both so grateful to Dr. Leiber and Regenexx. We wished we hadn't waited so long to have the procedures done.

Do not hesitate to have any procedure done- your life will be drastically improved! Highly Recommended!

I had a 90% tear in rotator cuff in right arm. Was sceptical and proceeded with caution for stem cells. After the initial pain, I started to feel better and when I completed physical therapy, I noticed a Marked improvement of 80-90% in pain levels. I was in a 8-10 level pain almost all the time with movement and now can say I am at or near 0 almost all the time. I am a local Real Estate broker so my right arm was important! I am so grateful!!

After trying all methods to relieve my cervical and shoulder pain, I was referred to a neurosurgeon and shoulder surgeon by my pain management doctor. She said that surgery was needed for me to feel better again. I was not happy with the suggestion of surgery.

“I had a lot of pain in my right shoulder.I totally my super spanandouss.d”

Dr. Leibert had ordered me an MRI so he could determine the tear. Then in June 2019 the Doctor asperated my stem cells and then later that day he injected them into my hurt area. In six months I was able to start lifting my arm and now I am pain free. Thanks to the great Doctor Leibert for diagnosing and finding the correct procedure for me. My arthritis was crippling. Orthopedics had told me the only way to alleviate the intense pain in my great toe was to have a joint replacement! Both of my thumbs were so sore I could not shake hands and mostly they just constantly ached!
hanks to Dr. Leiber I no longer need to wear shoes 2 sizes too big to protect my toe joint and can do yoga with all my weight on my great toe joint!!! No more pain and I have a fantastic quality of life!

The level of experience and expertise of Dr. Leiber’s was immediately apparent, and places him head and shoulders above others. “Exceptional care from start to finish”

Dr Leiber has an excellent bedside manner and explains treatment very well. Aftercare information is clear and concise. He is a caring professional and I always feel I’m in safe hands. I have arthritic hand joints and was struggling to do basic tasks. My pain was severe and this was impacting my life very negatively. My treatment consisted of PRP in 2 joints. This was a quick procedure with minimal discomfort. Two weeks post treatment my pain score is down from an 8 to a 1-2 on the DVPRS scoring system and I have 80% function in the affected hand. Can’t thank Dr Leiber enough. Highly recommended.

“Amazing experience treating my shoulder pain”

I am a 93-yo man who injured his shoulder doing yard work. I was in pain but because of Covid I put off going to see anyone. Eventually I made an appt with an ortho. We tried Cortisone and PT, which were not much help.
I made an appt with Regenexx Tampa Bay. It was the best move I could have made. The receptionist, Karen and nurse, Ana, were both extremely nice. Dr. Papas is a nice young man who gave me a thorough exam that lasted over an hour, including x ray, ultrasound and diagnosis of a partially torn rotator cuff. I felt so reassured after consulting with him, with no rush he answered all of our questions. His recommendation was PRP (they draw blood, prep it in their lab, and reinject your shoulder. I had about 4 days of post procedure pain. During my course I was in contact with a very nice lady, Kim, my coordinator. Words cant describe how helpful she was. I am on the mend and getting back to normalcy. If you are contemplating surgery, talk to Regenexx first.

“Having the procedure done was the best decision ever!”

Came in with a torn labrum in my left shoulder, the pain was ridiculous. After deciding to try this before a normal surgery (i cant be put under without major health risks) I came in for my second appt. Followed EVERY instruction I was given to the letter from taking the supplements to eating the special diet I was put on.I had my procedure done 10/22/2020. Today was my 90day follow up. I'm in zero pain and the tear in my shoulder is healed. Only thing to show it was even damaged is a small scar on the labrum. It would've been foolish of me not to explore this option to avoid have a surgery that wouldn't have helped me as much. I've now been cleared to start playing billiards again, as well as auto racing.

You owe it to yourself to explore this option BEFORE having any surgery, you won't be sorry!!!

I can't thank Dr.Papas and his fantastic staff enough for helping me through this process.

Dr. Papas did my knee osteoarthritis Stem Cell/ PRP treatment 6 weeks ago and I am 100% better. I actually noted improvement after the first week. I received prp and stem cell procedures for 4 trigger fingers and arthritis in the base of both thumbs. I had compromised use of both hands. Dr Leiber was very through in his explanation of the procedures and expectations. Results were better than expected. However, I did not have immediate results as it took about four months for the pain to subside. When I began to see results my pain level was reduced to where I could stand and walk for significant longer periods. Since my last procedure I feel 100% better allowing me to return to many of the activities I enjoy.

Dr, James Leiber and his team are one of the most professional groups I've every worked with. They truly care and believe in what they do! As an aging athlete they have kept me in the game with procedures on my knee, both shoulders, and low back. I have had low back issues for over 25 years and feel better than I have in years. At age 55 I am back to playing sand volleyball, crossfit, swimming, biking, and active with my young kids. It is amazing we live in a day and age where this is an alternative to surgery and one that actually works. I will not consider any other group other than Regenexx for my future orthopedic needs if any should develop!

After experiencing the pain and discomfort of a left knee replacement, I began exploring other options for treatment of my right knee injury. Fortunately, I found Dr Leiber in Sarasota and had my first Regenexx Stem Cell treatment in April, 2017. After astounding results, both my wife and son have had Regenexx Stem Cell Procedures done, (her shoulder and his knee.) I had moderate damage to my left knee caused by post traumatic arthritis and was heading to knee replacement according to two orthopedists and nothing could be done to help permanently. After reviewing Regenexx web site. I decided to have the procedure done. Dr Leiber was very helpful and explained to me all the details of the procedure and recovery process. I am a physician and the stem cell treatment the way it is done in Regenexx looked very exciting. I have been always very active in sports and I am very pleased to see a lot of improvement. 10 months after the procedure I could ski again for 4 hours a day but every other day without taking any medicine for pain. 3 months later my knee keeps improving to the point that in the last 2 weeks I was biking 160 miles without any discomfort, swimming 6 - 7 miles and walking 1 hour a day every 3 rd day. I do not run or jump but and have no pain walking upstairs. Today I had recommend PRP treatment I hope to improve even more. Thank you

When it comes to regenerative medicine, I think of Dr. Leiber and Regenexx at New Regeneration Orthopedics of Florida. Dr. Leiber successfully restored my ability to more comfortably walk through stem cell surgery, specifically, PRP. In my case, I was barely able to walk. My right hip and right groin area felt like I was going to fall over – like that area was about to collapse. Awful hip pain. Tendonitis. Bursitis. Tight hamstrings. After PRP with Dr. Leiber, my mobility is greatly improved. I am very grateful for his help. Highly recommend Dr. Leiber.

I was very skeptical about getting any relief from my back pain that I have had for over 40 years. I heard from many people that they have gotten total relief from their pain, knees, shoulder, and neck pain. So I went with an open mind but still didn't expect much relief but only a couple of days after my first treatment I was totally pain free for 4 days and then it started to return. Then after my second treatment about 6 or 7 weeks ago I had the blood platelets injections. This has reduced my pain up to about 90 percent for the first three or four weeks. The pain is gradually coming back but not the level it was before. I was to the point of not being able to walk or stand without constant pain just a few months ago but things have improved tremendously. I recommend this to everyone I talk to how suffer from chronic pain. I'm in a much better place now physically and mentally. Also for me the treatments were almost painless. And worth it. Thank you doctor Leiber and staff.
