“Broken Promises”
Today is the 05 of May, 2015. Went for a visit to Dr. Spinola in June of 2014, to see about having inserts made for my shoes. The initial office visit was $50 for my insurance co-pay, as they made impression castings of my feet, to be able to place an order for the inserts. The charge for the inserts were $350.00, plus another $50.00 insurance co-pay to see Dr. Spinola again when the inserts arrived. I, as well as my wife (who is an LPN for 29 years, who just happened to be with me that day) was told by Dr. Spinola, as well as one of his office workers who followed up just after seeing him that first time, that they could reorder another pair for a cost of $100.00, should I need another pair and being the casting had already been made. Have just called their office in Jesup this morning, and was told it would be another $350.00 for another pair to be made, as I couldn't just reorder another pair without seeing him again. Was also told they would call me right back, has been all day and still nothing!
What a money racket.
