“No notice of cancelled appointment”
This morning I took my mother who has Alzheimer's to her appointmet in Dr Ween's office. She was scheduled to be seen by the ARNP. Without any notice to us at all, that appointment had been cancelled and the lady at the desk "couldn't" reschedule it because it had to be done by a specific person who was in a meeting all morning. Not only did I have to take time off work to take my mother to this non-existent appointment, but my poor mother was very confused about what was happening. I had her all geared up and ready to see the doc but wound up having to take her back to the caregivers not understanding anything about what had happened. It's inexcusable to cancel appointments without calling the patient to reschedule. Especially seeing as I was told this was cancelled just 5 days ago. Truly poor office management. I asked to please just let me reschedule now and was told I had to wait for someone to call me.
