“Poor Service!!!!!!!!!”
am VERY disappointed in the care that my mother received at RMCC. The staff were very unprofessional. They left my mother unattended while starting her very first chemo treatment. She had a reaction and there were no nurses around to help. My mother had to call out to a family member of another chemo patient to go get a nurse. The entire time my Mother was getting her treatment we had to listen to how much the nurses hated working at RMCC. My mother was having some problems after the treatment she called the office to find out if that was to be expected. After she was on hold for 30 minutes a nurse told her that someone would call her back only to never hear from anyone. The symptoms continued. We finally got a hold of the Nurse Manager only to be told to go to her pcp. Her pcp is not an oncologist, how would she know if there was something to worry about? Thankfully her PCP got her lab results from her 10 day post chemo check up only to find that her white blood count had dropped to a "CRITICAL" level. In which she was never notified of. Is this the care that people in a life or death situation should be getting?
