Came in as a “ emergency “ with a corneal ulcer and needless to say I was a bit unnerved. Dr. Mauro was very reassuring and confident in his diagnosis and intended treatment which put me at ease. He also suggested a follow up visit to ensure there were no complications and I was doing better.My visit was timely, everyone was polite, and highly competent. Both he and his staff are top notch, I would recommend him to anyone.

I've been going to Dr. Mauro for years. He's kind and explains everything in easy to understand terms. You never feel rushed. I'm checked annually for Glaucoma, as I'm borderline or "glaucoma suspect" as it's called. I'm also checked for macular degeneration, as my dad had it. He had the field of vision test rerun a 2nd time at no charge recently, because the numbers didn't add up. He put me at ease, as the numbers were more within range on the
re-test. He also recommended great eye drops (Systane) for my dry eyes. I would highly recommend Dr. Mauro!
