Dr. Herstik is unlike other doctors. He tries to do everything before he recommends surgery. I first came to see him more than 10 years ago. I needed a for a second opinion for a bunion. Unlike my first doctor, Dr. Herstik, recommended not to do it because it was a small bunion. He recommended changing the style of shoes and that was it. So far, the bunion doesn't need to be operated on. I am glad I listened to Dr. Herstik.
