The experience with the provider was Outstanding. However, my problem is getting to and from the Brownwood office. I can't seem to find my way out the same was as I go into the complex. I don't know what road I was on when I left the complex (I couldn't see very well because of the drops. Then I got to Buena Vista and I knew where I was. It was scary. I might have to find another provider. I am 84, still drive, but not for too many more years, and I have no one to provide transportation. It is a big problem for me.

Dr. Causey saved my eye. He correctly diagnosed my eye problem as Ocular Herpes, which will cause blindness in the eye if not properly treated. It is the same virus that causes shingles. He started me on a treatment program with medication and eye drops to fight the virus. When the pharmacy declined the medication he helped to get the medication approved for me. It took a few months, I even had to wear a contact lens for a while, but with his persistence and knowledge, we were able to beat the virus. Now my eye is back to normal and I will be forever grateful to Dr. Causey. Thank You Dr. Causey

I finally convinced myself to get Laisks after a friend of mine recently got it done at St. Lukes. I made my appointment to see if I was qualified, Rita was my Technician. You will spend the most of your time with her, she did all the examines, explained to me how everything will be done step by step, answered all my questions, she was very warming and made me feel comfortable from the 1st visit to the most recent visit which was my 1 week post-lasik check up and I'm so happy to say I have 20/15 in my left eye and 20/20 in my right eye. Little dry eye and sensitive to bright eyes which was expected, but almost not noticeable and will get better over time. During the surgery, Dr. Howard was brilliant. Explained to me what was being done every step of the way, there was no pain and before you know it, it was over. Went home, slept the rest of the day and when you wake up, you will be able to see everything clearly without glasses!
