“Expertise, empathy and action plan !”

I can always count on Dr. Carlson to do a complete examination and listen to my concerns. I have gone to Dr. Carlson and Stadia Clinic for years with knee issues. His diagnosis and treatment programs have kept me surgery free for years. The thoroughness, empathy and expertise at Stadia Clinic is top in Des Moines!

“Always what I need”

Dr. Carlson takes the time to explain the process and my options. I appreciate the time he takes to make sure I understand the diagnosis and my treatment options. I've recommended many friends and family and they all report the same great treatment from Dr Carlson and the staff at Stadia.

“Too good to be true, except it is true”

Outstanding client relationship. Professional staff that cares and willing to get things done for you regarding paperwork. They explain treatments and examines, what they are doing as they are doing it and why. I was sent by the VA and this is hands down the best experience I've had with medical care regarding my injuries. This place is too good to be true, except that it is.

In the the past 10 years of seeing Dr.Carlson for various medical concerns, i have always felt his medical knowledge to be extremely high and the treatments to be beneficial. he has always shown concern and willingness to take the needed time with me to show the support needed. “best I've found”

Multiple members of my family have used Stadia and Dr. Carlson. My youngest daughter spend 2 years with foot pain before coming here where Dr. Carlson found a neuroma that needed to be removed. Other doctors seem to want to take the easy path. Dr. Carlson takes the time to actually find the root problem and get it fixed.

“Looking for help with long-time shoulder and neck pain”

After having issues sleeping for a long time, I went to see Dr. Carlson. He was able to rule out various issues and put me on a plan to see if things would improve. He also sent me home with home exercises first, to see if that would remedy the issue, before going down the more expensive PT route. I appreciated this approach to looking for the simple solutions first.
