First of all, I can't believe that I had a tooth removed, a jaw fractured addressed, and an implant installed and all I needed after each procedure was a single Advil. That's crazy -- but that was my experience with Dr. Guttenberg. Total precision.

Second of all, the staff is warm, friendly, and very understanding of quirky patients. I will miss seeing them.

Dr. Guttenberg finally figured out what was causing horrible pain, and even tried putting Novocain in it so that I could tell if that fixed everything, which it did, and then he discussed my options with me. He preferred that I wait to see if it improved, but I couldn't tolerate that, so he did surgery. I liked that his preference would be to be less aggressive, but also that he took the time to talk about both options until I decided. The staff that took phone calls were so lovely, too.

Dr. G. has taken out two of my wisdom teeth...in two operations years apart. I have always heard about the pain, difficulty, and bloodiness of this operation. I experienced none of this. I was referred to Dr. Guttenberg after a wisdom tooth extraction got infected, dry socket, and my jaw had a muscle spasm. Basically I was in horrible pain, but he and his lovely and welcoming team were extremely helpful and courteous in making sure I got the correct care and cleaning of the site, as well as management of the pain. Dr. Guttenberg extracted my wisdom teeth and it couldn't have gone better. While many friends of mine who used other surgeons experienced lots of bleeding I had almost none. Pain after the operation was also definitely minimal and the healing process was surprisingly easy. Staff is all great and easy going and just want the patient to be comfortable. Highly recommend!
