“Dr. Stephen Goldberg, Orthopedic Surgen Rated the Best!”

I've been a patient of Dr. Stephen Goldberg since August 2015 after suffering a rotator cuff injury. I found him to be extremely professional, listening to all of my concerns, spending the necessary time with me to ascertain I had a clear understanding of my injury and understand diagnostic conclusions. In September 2017 he provided my surgical needs again to release a damaged ulna nerve. In late 2018 he provided surgery on my husbands arm.
I highly recommend Dr. Goldberg.

“So happy I found Dr. Goldberg!!”

Dr. Goldberg did an amazing job on my shoulder repair. The recovery time has been half of what I expected. His entire staff is wonderful!! The staff at the surgical center was wonderful!! “Best orthopedic doctor”

After experiencing years of shoulder pain I had an appointment with Dr Goldberg. From the very first visit I felt very with Dr Goldberg. He explained everything very well and made me feel confident in him. The surgery went very well and with no complications. Post surgery was more difficult than I expected even though Dr Goldberg explained that it would be. I followed Dr Goldberg's instructions and now I am happy to say that I am pain free for the most part. In conclusion, Dr Goldberg is not only an excellent surgeon but also an understanding and caring physician. I have no complaints

“/Very little pain.”

No problems after the surgery. Started rehab immediately and worked at home also. No pain except some stiffness that was easily worked out. After four three weeks of rehab I started easy workouts for my triathlon training. After six weeks I continued my workouts but added a more strenuous pace. The first few days after surgery there was very little pain and none after a few more days. I took first place in the Captiva Trtathlon in the 80 and over age group. None of this would have been possible without Dr. Goldberg doing the rotator cuff surgery. Stuart Wahl

“My shoulder feels GREAT...full recovery!”

Dr Goldberg did an outstanding job of repairing my torn rotator cuff. After a little physical therapy I now have full motion and usage of my shoulder. The surgery center was great as is his office staff. Dr Goldberg spends the time to make you comfortable with the surgery and recovery..Great job all around!

“A GREAT EXPERIENCE”

I have put off my shoulder replacement for too long. I could not lift things, put my belt on, hard to sleep because of pain....generally I was handicapped. I am skittish when it when it comes to surgery. I was bone on bone i
n my shoulder and I heard crunching sounds when I moved my arm.
Dr Goldberg performed a miracle for me! As soon as I was in recovery, I HAD NO PAIN, I took a pain pill because I was told to take it,, not because I needed it. The second day was the same, no pain but a pain pill. That was it. Therapy is helping me regain full motion to my shoulder. I can do commercials for Dr Goldberg. I cannot believe how painless and perfect my surgery went. I have to have a shoulder replacement on my other arm, No worry or hesitation for me..I hope you all believe me because it sounds impossible .....for me this was a miracle..Gary W. Donner

“Remarkable experience”

After attending a local leadership presentation and learning about Dr Goldberg and his unique shoulder replacement procedure, I made an appointment. From the very first moment in his office, I knew i made the correct decision. The office staff are incredibly caring and professional. Dr Goldberg takes the time to do an thorough evaluation as well as sit and answer all of my questions. I was always made to feel like I was the only patient in the office.
Having gone through shoulder replacement before, i was hesitant to have my other shoulder done. As of today, I am 6 weeks post-op with Dr G. I am truly thankful and amazed how well i am doing in such a short period of time. The operative procedure went very well. I can barely see the incision. My range of motion is far ahead of schedule and I am making progress everyday with my new shoulder. I plan to be back in the gym soon. Dr Goldberg and his staff have done a wonderful job. I can't thank them enough.

“Excellent in every way.”

I am one year post op from rotator cuff surgery and doing better than I ever expected. Dr Goldberg is not only an excellent surgeon but he is very caring and understanding. His explanation of the procedure before surgery was very good and followup appointments were always right on. I will forever be grateful to Dr Goldberg for giving me my life back. The office staff also deserves a shout out because they also made this difficult year much more tolerable. I would recommend Dr Goldberg to anyone with shoulder problems.

“Superior care....better than my alma mater MGH in Boston!!Dr”

Dr Goldberg is as kind as he is competent; as sincere as he is skilled. He repaired my badly damaged R shoulder with a Total reverse rotator cuff replacement. After 4 1/2 months of extensive P.T. I regained about 1/2 of my normal mobility...enough so that I could put my hair in a "pony tail" with my right arm. (; I am in his debt for giving me enough mobility to live an active outdoor life hiking in the hills of Vermont.

“He saved my life! I could't do anything because of the pain.”

Dr Goldberg is incredible and I am so thankful he did the operation on my shoulders. I had to have a complete shoulder replacement on both shoulders and it was so easy it was crazy. One day in the hospital, one day on pain meds. Easy, peasy. Dr Goldberg is easy to talk to and takes as much time as you need. Before he operated I could't do anything because of the pain. He is a celebrated surgeon and I am lucky to have had him.

I had heard this was a tough surgery. Other than one day of
severe pain, post surgery, the recovery was relatively pain free.
my should is doing great just under six weeks post op.

“Best shoulder surgeon in Florida”

I had a total shoulder replacement. It’s been 3 months and I have had NO pain and recovered all of my rage of motion, which was only 40% before surgery. I couldn’t possibly be more pleased with Dr Goldberg, his PA Ryan and the entire office personnel. I was a surgical rep and called on teaching Institutions, so I know a good surgeon when I meet one. And, Dr Goldberg is without equal—he’s that good!!’

“Best In The Business”

You have many choices when it comes to the evaluation of your orthopedic condition and, after 50 years as a healthcare provider, administrator, and researcher, I had an injured right shoulder and did my research by talking to operating room nurses and other clinicians. Dr. Goldberg was the name that came to my attention time and time again so I elected to have him evaluate my right shoulder and he recommended replacement. Using his cutting edge approach with the Catalyst implant, I was back on the golf course in a little over 3 months and that included a rotator cuff repair in the same joint. Two years later, I needed a new left shoulder and the decision to return to Dr. Goldberg was a no-brainer. I'm 6 weeks post op and ahead of schedule again and very thankful that I found Dr. Goldberg.

“My shoulder is better than ever”

I waited too long before getting my shoulder replacement scheduled. The procedure and recovery were successful and I feel like it is back to normal in just 6-9 months. The actual recovery was very short, pain was gone the day after surgery and I wish I had done this sooner. The doctor and staff at the office and hospital were all excellent. I appreciate all the concern, care and reassurance I had gotten during my treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Goldberg for his skills and using the CSR shoulder is amazing. Golfing and pickleball is back on!

“Amazing!”

I am an 83 year old woman who's been active all of my life. However, for the past 6 months, I had been in excruciating pain in my right shoulder. I was told by my former Orthopedic Dr. that I was bone on bone. Every time I moved, I'd experience a jolt of pain. Over the next few months I lost the use of my whole right arm and hand and couldn't even write my name without pain.
When I moved to Naples, I met several people who mentioned Dr. Goldberg in glowing terms. I had my shoulder replacement surgery on Oct. 7th. When I woke up, I experienced a different kind of pain. This disappeared within a day. The following days I was astonished that I was completely pain free! I sailed through rehab and home therapy. My only problem was to try to slow down! I wanted to resume all my activities right away. I was told that I had to be patient and let the deep muscles repair themselves.
If you are reading this narrative, you are Blessed to have Dr. Goldberg in your area.

“Great Surgeon equals great results”

On October 15,2019, Dr. Goldberg operated on my shoulder to repair Rotator cuff tears,subscapularis tears and clean up some other issues impacting my shoulder. The surgery was a success and I am way ahead of schedule in getting back to golf 3-4 times a week and using my arms in other activities.

I was skeptical on having surgery in SW Florida as I was very comfortable with surgery up North where I have had a number of surgical procedures including C4, 5, 6 fusion, L2, 3, 4,5, hip replacement and knee surgery.

I spent time researching Surgeons in Southern Florida before selecting Dr. Goldberg based upon his experience, reputation, and focus as well as recommendations. My recovery is a function of Dr. Goldberg's excellent skill. His staff is excellent as is the Seaside Surgical Center.I highly recommend Dr. Goldberg and his team.

Dr. Steven Goldberg is an exceptionally bright, humble, and caring Orthopedic Surgeon and human being. He’s honest and takes his time to explain everything you need to know prior to, during, and following your surgery. His educational background and experience are exceptional, and he has treated athletes from the school to professional levels, as well as those, like me, previously a Phys. Ed. Teacher and Coach, who needed a total shoulder replacement. It’s not easy to find a surgeon in a small town with such a stellar reputation BUT Dr. Goldberg IS that wonderful human being. Praise must also go to his very organized staff and Denise Riester, Dr.Goldberg’s Office Administrator who is the kindest, most caring, and concerned person we’ve dealt with. She makes it all happen!
