“Immediate Relief Post Injection”

Having been diagnosed with two serious spinal issues in my 30s created many limitations. Daily life began to shift from happy to pain filled. Activities were no longer enjoyable and my attitude began to shift with my pain.

An orthopedic surgeon and neuro-spinal surgeon each recommended multi-disk fusion!

Dr. Mehta suggested a less invasive treatment plan. We started with injections into the back. Within 3 days the pain was reduced to a shadow. Certain movements still cause discomfort, but life has been restored. We are now on a long-term treatment plan that will avoid or delay surgery. Awesome!

“AMAZING PAIN FREE!”

I've been coming to Dr. Mehta after my major neck surgery 15 years ago. He has been helping me with medications for a few months and then I did a PRP injection. Dr. Mehta suggested it would help with healing and pain. All I can say is WOW! for the Last 15 years I have suffered in pain. After the PRP it slowly disappeared and I am stopping my morphine medication. PRP was an amazing treatment that helped me. I wish I had know this 15 years ago prior to my 3rd neck fusion C6-7 & C3-5. His staff is wonderful, especially the MA's.

“Great experience with Dr. Mehta!”

I had great success with the recent injections I had. The back injections gave me great relief. The last hip injection barely hurt and it has been working great! The staff is great! They explain things very clearly and polite. They even helped put my shoes on. I love the office and wait time is great! I recommend this clinic to anyone who has back or joint pain. I've already told many of my friends about Dr. Mehta. He is great!

“Dr. Mehta is Amazing!!”

Dr. Mehta and his Office Staff are amazingggg!!! Dr. Mehta has been instrumental beyond measure in restoring my health back to normal. I saw Dr. Mehta in the worst pain of my life and was unable to walk or sit upright. A few months later after treatment with Dr. Mehta my life has been restored! I am now able to do all things normally before my back injury/pain. Dr. Mehta is a heaven sent and I am so blessed to have him as my Doctor. “Great pain relief, and a doctor that actually cares!”

I came in with extreme low back pain - so much that it was affecting my daily life. I am an overall healthy 35 year old, and was really struggling with not being able to function at work and in everyday life.

Dr Mehta listened, and helped develop a plan to get me out of pain, and functioning again.

I was pretty disappointed with my previous care on my back - it felt like my ortho doctor shunned me off and threw pills at me, but this was not the case here.

After an injection in my back, I am feeling a million times better! I know that I am not out of the woods, and still have work to do, but I know that Dr Mehta will work with me to ensure that we are doing everything possible to prevent this pain again.

Dr. Mehta has literally given me a life.

When I first started seeing him, I had agonizing, severe, spasms down my legs.I could barely walk down the hall at work, without having to stop from pain.

At first, I doubted he could help me at all. I had been to another doctor for the pain, and had an extremely disappointing experience.

Dr. Mehta stopped my leg pain, and I now lead a full life.

“A wonderful healing experience”

Dr. Mehta and staff feel like miracle workers. After experiencing a recurrence of a herniated disc that was surgically "repaired", Dr. Mehta was able to eliminate my initial pain (without opiates), and set me on the road to long-term healing. I expect to be healthier than I ever was after my initial surgery. Not only an alternative to surgery, I would suggest this as a first course of therapy. Shorter recovery time, less cost, and better outcomes... hard to say no to any of that!

“excellent back pain relief”

pain started jan 31 and it was excruciating in the middle of left buttock and back. i went to my internist who sent me to an orthopedic and the orthopedic sent me to dr. mehta. i tried pt and chiropractor 5 times. the first pain relief i got 2 days after dr. mehtas needle procedure and i was pain free for 5-6 weeks and then the follow up was excellent after the ablation.

“More than just a doctor”

I have been a patient for 5 years with Dr Mehta. I continue to come back to him because he treats me with respect and listens to my concerns. His care is genuine. His compassion is great. His kindness is clear and transparent. After all the complications I have had from year to year, he has never abandoned me to dwell in the dark pit of pain and discomfort. He is not only a leader in the wide world of medical science, but makes a difference on a daily basis. The current staff takes after his example, to build a well functioning unit, pushing his office to the next step. It is clear they make goals to not meet expectations at the bare minimum, but to exceed them. The effort of collaboration within his team is outstanding to say the least. He won't leave you hanging, and definitely performs the needful. Thank you Dr Mehta for always helping with my best interest at heart and never thinking twice about it.

I came to See Dr. Meht for a torn hamstring. I injuired in training for the Houston Marathon. After he studied my MRI he was able to diagnois what was causing all my hamstring issues. One PRP Shot and a Epidural in my lower back I am back running a month later. Better results that I expected. I had very little problem getting an appointment. They run pretty much on schedule. Hopdefully I stay healthy from this point on.

I have been dealing with a left shoulder injury and pain for more than 6 months now. Dr. Mehta was immediately able to diagnose my problem and recommend solutions. His office staff was efficient in getting me scheduled within a couple days for my shoulder injection and my pain resolved immediately after the procedure, to the point that I was able to return to the gym the very next day pain free. “Dr. Nguyen is exceptional, and a young doctor that is willing to listen”

Dr. Nguyen helped me with my Bicipital tendonitis and gave me 100% pain relief after the tendon sheath injection. I used to not be able to sleep at night, the pain would wake me up. Now I sleep throughout the whole night. I don't have to use any muscle relaxers or medications for my pain!! “No pain after PRP done on left wrist.”

“Relief!”

Unlike other spine doctors I've seen, Dr Mehta and the staff at TX Spine and Joint gave me a peace of mind that they were most interested in healing my back and not just selling me procedures. Their comprehensive approach made far more progress in healing my injury than if I had undergone painful and expensive surgeries. Today, my back is stronger and healthier than even before my injury!

“Slow and Steady Recovery”

My journey with Dr. Mehta began in Jan 2019. I was in constant pain, unable to stand upright, and was afraid this would be my new normal. Through careful examination, reading my MRI, and listening to me explain my symptoms, he gave me a treatment plan. I wasn't sure what my outcome would be, but I have come to trust Dr. Mehta and his diagnosis. More importantly though, his willingness explain the process, and manage my expectations.

Initial contact with the assistant was perfect. He calmed me down. Its been a long time since i was in the Army and got shots.

Dr. Mehta had an excellent attitude, he explained the procedure and he had a really relaxing air about him. Some discomfort with the shot, but it was great.

Dr. Mehta showed me excercises and he helped move my shoulder.

“My left wrist pain was resolved after Dr. Metha treated me”

I had a left wrist pain and thumb discomfort for a long time caused by a mild impact a year ago. The physical therapy did not help. Dr. Metha did an ultrasound and found a cyst. He removed the cyst and the pain went away right away. I have been able to go back to playing tennis again. I am considering a PRP soon. Thank you!

“An excellent alternative to surgery and medication”

I had a discectomy in 2011 that eventually failed and led to a recurrence of leg pain and numbness. After visiting Dr. Mehta, I was reassured that I wouldn't need surgery and that his less invasive procedures could lead to a longer term benefit. Less than six months after my worst pain since 2011, I was able to run, swim, and return to my normal life. Highly recommended and should be at least considered by anyone who is thinking surgery first.

“I was able to get my life back without surgery!”

I suffered from sciatic pain that radiated down my leg and prevented me from sitting, standing, or comfortably functioning in any capacity for several months. I had been to other providers, but they were unable to help so when I came to Dr. Mehta, I was apprehensive whether or not my condition was fixable without surgery. From the very first appointment, Dr. Mehta had my pain significantly lessened and just 3-4 months later I am relatively pain free. I can't recommend Dr. Mehta or his office enough. Not only did they help my pain, but the office is clean and the office staff are all welcoming and professional. All around excellent experience.

“Off to the pain-free finish line!”

This was my first experience with Dr Nguyen. First impressions are everything. From the time I first spoke with him just to say hello, I knew I was in good hands.

I suffer from anxiety for 20+ years and Dr Nguyen was able to cater to my needs. Not only was he careful, mindful and patient, he verbally walked me through the entire process. The pain I have been going through in the past few years has been excrutiating. With acute pain in the last week with no end in sight, I finally am able to exhale, even if its just for today.

Dr Nguyen has fantastic bed-side manner; he doesn't see you as just a number but remembers that he works with actual people. In this day in age, we need more people to learn from his skills and talents of not only medical science, but to appeal to our humanity. I am so thankful for coming in and meeting him. I knew what I wanted and wasn't sure what I needed to get there, but Dr Nguyen knew exactly to get me to there! Thank you kindly!
