Dr Buford has treated me for two shoulders and a knee and always offered advice and alternatives, answered questions asked. I had to have a shoulder surgery a month after back surgery and only my trust in him allowed me to make that decision. I would recommend Dr Buford to everyone.

After chronic knee pain, I finally came to see a doctor for a diagnosis. As an active person, I came to Dr. Buford for his expertise in sports medicine and PRP. The same day I came to see him I got an xray and MRI. Quick diagnosis and friendly service. He talked through my issue and went over treatment options in terms I could understand. I feel a little conflicted in the diagnosis only because I have been told for more than 10 years that I have some arthritis in my knee. Today, I am told no signs of arthritis. This is good news I am just shocked because of what my past x-rays and MRIs have shown. Maybe my dietary changes and yoga have helped or it all just healed. No saying diagnosis is wrong just not sure I am 100% confident. However I will follow doctors orders.

He also did a private zoom with us to go over his MRI results from another physician, and he did all of this before we ever even came in for the initial visit. Everything was explained in detail. Dr. Buford had straight, ready answers to my questions. He did not over-promise. I learned the therapy does not regrow cartilage (which was my wish). But truth is better than lies. There seems to be good expectation that underlying inflammation will be addressed. Also, it sounds like the therapy will support less-damaged cartilage in both knees. Dancing might recommence just in time for Christmas!!!
