My experience with Dr. Hodgkins and his staff has been excellent and I cannot express enough the expertise and patient care. Dr. Hodgkins accepted me as a patient after I was not being treated in another hospital for four days with a severely dislocated foot. Dr. Hodgkins is an absolute expert in his field and saved my career in the military.

“Fantastic repair of 9 plus fractures in left foot”

I had an unfortunate fall where I fractured many bones in my foot, but fortunately I found Dr. Hodgkins and group to perform surgery on me and repair the foot. It was amazing how they were able to put me back together again as well as answer all my questions. I was very impressed with their practice and how well they functioned as a team. Many times I saw both Joseph Santoro and Dr. Hodgkins--excellent professionals!! I would highly recommend them for any foot surgery and am gratefully appreciative of what they did for me. “The experience could not have been better.”

From the first visit to my last, Dr. Hodgkins and his staff went out of there way to assist with any of my concerns. They were there leading up to the surgery and during my therapy.

“An Excellent Medical Experience”

Breaking my ankle skiing was a bummer, but finding Dr. Hodgkins was my good fortune. Before committing to the surgery to repair my ankle, I had information from a professional who had seen him in action and gave him the highest accolades. In addition to his expertise, I found a secondary bonus. This doctor is personable and genuinely interested in his patients. He has a very nice way about him. After approximately four months post surgery, I am extremely happy with the results.

My experience with Dr. Hodgkins and his team has been amazing. He is very informative and has completely changed my ankle. I had a previous surgery at a different hospital and was always in a lot of pain. Immediately when Dr. Hodgkins saw me he knew that something was wrong. After my second surgery I felt no pain. “No words to describe how much trust I feel when Dr. Hodkins”

I had a very bad injury on my left ankle, a injury that would take from 8-12 month recovery. Dr. Hodkins and his wonderful team had me 90% recovered in 3 months and fully able to walk in 4 months. Truly a blessing to have such a outstanding Surgeon!

Dr. Hodgkins is exceptional at what he does. I had a surgery with him for a fusion on the navicular bone and I'm so impressed with how well it all went! The scar is almost non existent and every day it is getting stronger and stronger! I live in Los Angeles and wanted to do my surgery with the best and boy did I! “Beyond Expectations”

Was referred by a doctor friend so was confident I was going to the best. Once I had the consultation, surgery and follow-up, great hands is an understatement.
Dr Hodgkins' skill and using the most up-to-date procedures surpassed my expectations.
If he didn't tell me the surgery was more advanced because of my condition, I would never had thought.

“Wonderful Results!”

I saw Dr.Hodgkins after years of debilitating foot pain which a number of previous practitioners were unable to help me with. I was referred to Dr.Hodgkins, and he knew right away what to do to relieve the pain I was experiencing. Not only is Dr.Hodgkins a top notch surgeon, he also has a very nice, caring personality which makes for an excellent bedside manner. “Good experience -”

Practitioner was straightforward and direct; I was happy with my corrective surgery. I especially liked the follow up. I have had previous foot surgery and the surgeon only saw me once after the procedure. This doctor saw me several times after the surgery and was adamant about a slow, purposeful recovery that didn't put too much weight on my foot too soon.

“Great experience with an outstanding Surgeon”

My experience overall has been wonderful in the care of Dr. Hodgkin and his staff. For many years prior to surgery, i lived in pain to both feet. As a Nurse Practitioner, always standing and walking, I looked for the best specialized surgeon who would give me great quality of life to my feet. I am so thankful for the compassionate and professional care Dr. Hodgkin's provided in 2015 for the right foot and 2018 for the left foot. Both surgical outcomes have been amazing.

“Outstanding experience”

I came to Doc Hodgkins with a severely injured foot and a poor probability of doing the physical activities I enjoy and am required to do for my work as a service member. I received surgery, stuck to the plan, and one year later I have progressed to a level that I will be able to continue doing what I love to do. Throughout this year of treatment I never felt neglected. I'd encourage others to seek his care and if you stick with the plan you should have good results

“World class care and a class act”

Came in and wasn't sure what to do about increased pain of an old injury. He laid out the options and made a recommendation. I waited it out with less invasive options but ended up having the surgery. The surgery went very well. Pain was manged and the results are very good. Great I would even say. The rehab was balanced with my personal goals and clinical necessity. I am very confident in his skills as a surgeon and as doctor overall. Simply the best result from the best MD.

“If I broke my leg 100 more times, that's 100 more surgeries for Dr.Hodgkins”

Dr.Hodgkins and his staff were more than exceptional throughout this whole process. It is easy to tell when someone is a master of their craft. “lisfranc repair on my left foot”

Dr. Hodgkins is an excellent doctor. He was highly recommended by other patients and I am thankful for their advice. He explained everything to me from the details of the fracture and the required procedure for repair to going back to normal. “I had a toe fracture but got the best care!”

The best Dr. for toe fracture and surgery. I went into an Urgent Care on a Sunday night and called the referral service and was able to get an appointment later during the week. The Dr and his staff are professional, polite and punctual. Even when I had a little problem with the bandage after surgery, they took me that day, took care of me and I continued healing and now in Therapy. I feel great!

“Great results on baseball injury”

I suffered a broken and dislocated ankle playing high school baseball. Dr. Hodgkins performed a great surgery and helped me to a full recovery. “Amazing experience & incredible surgeon”

My experience with Dr. Hodgkins has been absolutely amazing. He is a perfectionist when it comes to his work and is very attentive throughout the entire recovery. I underwent bunion surgery on the right foot, and although the first month was painful, Dr. Hodgkins was always present and ready to answer any of my questions or concerns. It has been around 3 months since the surgery, and I am already wearing heels and went skiing last week. My foot looks great and feels great as well. Big thanks!

“Excellent results from a true professional”

My mother had surgery 2 weeks ago with Dr. Hodgkins.

The treatment received from his staff, and Dr. Hodgkins were phenomenal. My mother (Maria R.) was blessed to be treated so well. The results are excellent, and her next appointment is next week.

His explanations of the procedure were on point, and the reassurances of the results were far exceeded. Everything was exactly as explained. My mother is so happy.

We are lucky to have such an amazing physician in this community.

“Incredible Experience”

I had never broken anything in my life until last December while cleaning the pool I had a freak accident that resulted in multiple fractures to my left ankle. I was really scared when I visited Dr. Hodgkins for the first time and was hoping I could get away with wearing a cast but that was not an option and he clearly, in a non alarming and very reassuring way told me why. I was scheduled for surgery a week later and here I am good as new. Not only is Dr. Chris a great surgeon but a great human being as well and he has the best staff a Doctor could ask for.
I would recommend him with my eyes closed. Of course, I would rather see him on a social visit but it is really good to know that he is around.

Dr. Hodgkins has been spectacular from the beginning. From the very start he made sure that the only way to solve my broken ankle was surgery. He explained me all the process with very clear explanations. He was extremely attentive to my needs in regards of the scar and getting me back to my normal routine. Dr. Hodgkins and his amazing team are always available for any questions. Very happy with my results...it was the easiest decision to make! Would recommend him without thinking it twice.

Dr. Hodgkins made sure my broken ankle journey was on the correct path. I was lucky enough to see him the Monday after breaking my ankle and had surgery on Tuesday. Since then, my recovery process and follow-ups were quick and painless thanks to his guidance and the information he gave me. “Great doctor, great staff, and great results”

I broke my ankle in late April and had my surgery done May 1st. Surgery went extremely well with no complications or pain. Dr. Hodgkins and his staff were always available for any questions that I had and were very supportive throughout the process.

I was supposed to be non-weightbearing for 6 weeks and that was reduced to 4 weeks after my follow-up visit. In addition, by June 26th I was walking around without my boot and have been recovering perfectly ever since. Overall, great experience.

Doctor Hodgkins and Santoro were so polite and were great at making me understand the process of my recovery. It amazed me how well they knew me. “Excellent Care!”

Dr. Hodgkins performed my right ankle surgery after I experienced a fracture to my Fibula back in October. From the moment I met him at my first visit he was very attentive to my concerns and needs and very though in his explanation of my procedure and my plan of care. My surgery was an uneventful success and my recovery was smooth. He made sure to prescribe adequate pain control medication and referred me to the best rehab team available. During my recovery period he made sure I was not forgotten and had routine follow up appointment to assess my progress. The office staff is excellent and his assistants responded to my needs swiftly when I needed help with all my FMLA and short-term disability insurance paper work. Also they are very good at making sure you don't miss your follow up appointments with constant reminders. Overall, he is, in my opinion the best ankle surgeon in south Florida, I highly recommend him to anyone requiring his services.

“Best in Miami! Don't look anywhere else!”

The moment I tore my achilles, I knew my life had changed. I was filled with so much fear and anxiety at first. The best decision I made was to be cared for at Baptist. Dr Hodgkins, Santoro and team were amazing, the best in Miami! From appointment one (diagnosis), I felt optimism, despite the long road ahead, that I could get through this, and today, a year later, I feel great!

The clinic visits were fast, I rarely waited more than a few minutes to be seen. Add to that a financial team who was excellent at navigating insurance and a scheduling team who worked hard to accommodate my busy schedule. The athletic trainer worked hard to help me through the initial months and to coordinate between the physical therapy and the doctors office. Both Dr. Hodgkins and his physician's assistant, Michael Santoro, were genuinely invested in my recovery and helped me to meet my personal goals.

I can't thank the wonderful team enough for their care
and concern.

Dr. Hodgkins is an exemplary surgeon and caring and quite knowledgeable physician. He performed a subtular fusion quite involved process based on a prior calcaneus fracture that had been collapsing and causing me excrutiating pain. He was so thorough that moments before performing the actual surgery he did a final examination in the operating room which I thought was his commitment to excellence in serving his patients. I had a severely broken ankle and multiple fractures. Dr. Hodgkins and his team inserted several screws and a plate. It's been three and a half months since the surgery. I've had a few follow-up visits and am seeing an affiliated physical therapist twice a week. I'm amazed at the progress. I can now walk almost normally while wearing a small nylon/velcro brace around my ankle. The next step is to gradually walk without the brace. I highly recommend Dr. Hodgkins and his team!

“My foot is pain free for the 1st time in 20 years!!!”

I came in with a lot of pain for a chronic problem with my foot which had been present for 20 years. I did not know where to turn, until I found Dr. Hodgkins. I had a complete reconstruction of my foot. It was a long process but I would do it all over again. 6 months later I have a pain free foot!!! To me this is a miracle. 5 stars to the entire staff and experience.
