Remember in the 80s when we were all getting implants? Well now it's 30 years later and they are heavy, hot, and not so fun anymore. I am an active person and they were just too big for my frame and lifestyle. I decided to get mine removed (was a full c cup with saline implants) and it was the best decision. I am not a medical procedure type of person so I was pretty scared about the whole thing but with the help of Dr. Alderman and her great staff (and anesthesiologist) all my fears were addressed and I am so glad I did it. I would highly recommend Dr Alderman. I can honestly say I am thankful I had the implants removed and only wish I had done it sooner.

I was very scare of the pain, that was one of my main concerns but to my surprise I was never in pain, it was more of a discomfort. They have great patient communication options including a personal portal where you can download pictures for them to review without having to make an appointment, each time I called I got someone to assist me. I just went to my 6 month final appointment and was a little sad that i wont get to see them again :). I found her after trusting two other self promoting, arrogant & negligent doctors who ruined my body & blamed it on my skin color for their bad skills, and total negligence. One of the doctor made me sign a paper after fully getting paid for the surgery that he may assign others to do the surgery. I should have run letting go of the non refundable deposit. I didn’t & had to go through the consequences. I lived in a body I hated for 3 years before trusting Dr Amy to correct the mistakes of other two doctors. “Breast Explantation with Scar Tissue Removal - Fantastic Experience!”

It feels odd to describe any kind of surgery as a fantastic experience; however after having my breast implant surgery 12 years ago, I was in such enormous pain afterwards that I was terrified (dreading) to go through that again.

I went for a consultation visit and was blown away by how awesome everyone was, from Kelly to Tera (and then Amanda and Dr. Joiner pre-surgery as well).

Dr. Alderman prescribed a pain management protocol. When I got home from surgery I was able to walk around and eat normally! I never even needed to touch the Oxy prescribed! The worst the pain got was just a 2 out of 10, and that was primarily where the drains had been put in. I would describe it as just uncomfortable. I kept wondering when it was going to start to hurt. I was out taking our dog for a walk the next day! Now it's day 6 and I feel great!

If you are nervous about the pain and recovery factors, there's no need to be... as long as you are under Dr. Alderman's and her stellar team's care.

Dr. Alderman and her team provided me with results that were better than expected, by far! I am 50 years old, active and fit with small breasts and had avoided breast enlargements due to my active lifestyle. I also didn't want to seem "fake". I contacted Dr. Aldermans office for a consult because my friend who had a surgery scheduled already. From the moment I stepped in the offices for my consult I already knew this was the place for me. I originally went in for maybe a Tummy tuck but after meeting Dr. Alderman and discussing different options her approach is don't get what you don't need. She's gives you all the time you need and is super intelligent in her work. We decided on lipo for my belly and flanks because well I didn't need a tummy tuck. I went for a consult before Dr. A and that Dr was more than happy to slice in and perhaps give me a procedure I didn't quite need. I'm in my late 40's, work out 4-5 times a week and eat right. After my c-section in my late 30's all the exercise in the world was not going to get rid of those areas. I couldn't be happier with the results, I feel like me and I can wear a bikini again!
