“Dr. Mustafa has been amazing throughout my entire recovery.”

I came to thrive Ortho and Spine after having been struck by a Simi truck. I could not stand up and barely could walk. Dr. Patel and Dr. Mustafa immediately began a treatment that gave me comfort enough to go home. They set me up on a treatment plan that now has me back on my feet. “Best Orthopaedic Experience EVER”

I was involved in a head on accident that resulted in me breaking my leg. 4 days after the accident I came in to be seen by Dr. Newfield. His energy alone proved to me I was in the right place. He was very charismatic and super knowledgeable on the type of break and the healing process. Every appointment I had they bonded with me. Great bed side manners. It wasn't just about them healing me, they actually showed me they cared about me as a human and bonded with me each visit. Thank you to the staff, doctors, PA's, and nurses. Their team work made my experience so much better.

“wow-just what i wanted, another fabulous experience w Dr.N”

A year ago i broke my ankle in two places, Dr. Newfield recommended i pass and i have healed beautifully. I have torn rotator cuffs bad knees and bursitis. I left with injection and PT-
I want to get better without surgery if possible and this Dr can and will help and not rush me into a surgery if there is another alternatice

“Life Saver”

Never had back pain before and, of course, my first one had to be a big one. What started out as dull, low back pain progressively grew worse. Soon the pain traveled down to my legs. The pain was so severe it was debilitating. I could not stand up on my own, walk on my own. Thankfully, friends sent me immediately to Thrive Orthopedics where I met with Dr. Newfield. With his expertise, his recommendations, his prescriptions I literally was a new person by the next day...back on my feet again. Dr. Newfield and his team, including Michael were life savers and I cannot thank them enough.

“Surgery Went Well”

The surgery went very well. The incision was very neat, and I had little pain on my knee surgery. There were lots of scheduling issues and sometimes hard to reach the office. The phones seem to not work well. Overall the Dr. Newfield's diagnosis was correct, and I believe the surgery was executed well. We're going through a pandemic so maybe some of the office issues were due to that. What's important was the surgery and outcome which I think went well.

Great communication. Easy to schedule appointments. I was skeptical at first when I was told it would be best for me to do injections for my persisting pain.Nothing was working. Dr. Newfield is awesome. He made me feel so comfortable. I fractured my wrist and the choices were surgery or reset the bone. We chose to reset the bone and this was the best decision ever! I'm not a fan of surgery so I was hoping my wrist would heal back to normal. Dr. Newfield is very knowledgeable and let me know everything I needed to do to ensure timely healing. Even when I was going to therapy, Dr. Newfield made sure my therapist were working my wrist out correctly! He is so friendly and honestly I couldn't have asked for a better orthopedic.
