My back pain and sciatica was severe before surgery. I was heavily dependent on pain medication. After surgery, the pain went away, I stopped the pain medication, and was able to resume a normal life. This surgery was the best decision I've made in a long time.

Dr Dorsi has been concerned that my symptoms be alleviated. I appreciated that my scoliosis and spondytothesis were stabilized with the original surgery and that my lower back pain has now been minimized with the stimulator. I had a paddle stimulator put in my back oct 2019. It was the best thing I could have done. My pain level at this point has gone down at least 50% and climbing. We are still working on getting the right program down for me. Jenna and Dr. Dorsi have been so helpful in this process. I would highly recommend this office to anyone. They are available when ever I need them. Also working with the rep Sara from Nevro has been a god send. She has been available to me when ever I need her. So far this is the best thing I could have done for myself. I highly recommend this to anyone having the kind of pail I have been having.

My experience with the Abbott back stimulator has been a very positive one. It has reduced my overall severe pain level significantly (80 percent at least). Having control over how much reduction in pain I receive is in my hands alone. I would recommend this procedure to anyone who has back pain issues. Excercise in addition to the stimulator will also help reduce pain levels, especially stretching. I chose this procedure over spinal cord fusion, which is not something I wanted to do.

Out of the six surgeons a have had, Dr Dorsi is at the top of list. He repaired L5 - S1 so well I was out of hospital in 2 days. Was able to lower pain meds after 1 month. Now after 1 year my mobility is as near normal as I could have ever hoped for and at this level pain free. I do need another solution at C7 - T1 and am so relieved to be working with him for as am very confident in him that we will find the best way forward

Dr. Dorsi by far was one of the best doctor I ever encountered. He made me feel comfortable by explaining to me thoroughly the benefit of having neck spine surgery, and not having one. Dr. Dorsi is not like any other doctor who just recommend surgery immediately without a detailed explanation about the patient problem, and just taking advantage of the system, trying to make money. Honestly, I strongly recommend Dr. Dorsi above and beyond his peers for being truthful, honest, and concerned to his patients.

The spinal stimulator that Dr. Dorsi implanted has already helped with long standing neuropathy (unexplained) on the bottoms of my feet. At about 3 months from surgery time, I'm playing tennis and going to the gym. So far i would say that the condition is at least 50% improved, which has been greatly helpful in daily activities, especially driving where the pressure of the gas pedal was very painful. Glad I went ahead and did the surgery.

I had a 'Paddle' inserted in my back. This was to replace a failed Spinal Cord Stimulator. This new Stimulator is working even better than the previous one when it was working. I also have a pain pump inserted and this Spinal Cord Stimulator works better than that. I highly recommend this to anyone suffering from lower back pain. It is a simple surgery done on an outpatient basis and I was fully recovered after a week and was able to get up and move around after the second day.

Dr. Dorsi listed to me and gave me the opportunity to be myself again. I came to Dr. Dorsi after battling chronic pain for the past 3 years, doctors had thrown every medication in the book at me and they either didn't work or turned me into zombie. As a mother of two with a full time job I needed something more and Dr. Dorsi understood that and took the time to explain the how an implant might help me. I had debilitating back pain for over 5 years and couldn't sleep at night because of the pain. After trying 4 epidurals and 2 ablations for my lower back pain.Dr. Dorsi discussed a spinal cord stimulator solution for me. I read up on it and thought that it could be the solution to get me back to some sort of normalcy in my life. Mainly being able to sleep at night. I did the trail and even though the leads moved during that time, we still felt that the permanent stimulator would work. After getting the surgery, I showed immediate improvement. It took a couple of months for things to really settle in, but now that they have, I sleep like a baby and don't get up with excruciating pain like I used to. I have resumed my normal activities and can even exercise again. I'm going through Physical Therapy right now and after I build my core back up, I think I'll be back to normal. Dr. Dorsi and his team where there for me with both explanations and solutions. I couldn't be happier!

At this point I feel great and I am optimistic that we are going to be a good spot going forward. He has always been clear in his explanations, and in his diagnosis. What he says could/should happen, typically does. His team is always friendly and pleasant! The only challenge ever is how great he is, there is a bit of a wait to get in to see him. Having said that, that is usually the case for the great ones. Whenever possible, they have made accommodations for me and I am grateful for it!
