My experience over five years as a patient of Dr. Monica Torres has been exceptional. The evolution of my wellness and recovery from a serious injury was challenging. At times Dr. Torres was required to spend extra time responding to my insurance company and collecting information on my injury conveying it to the insurance representative making important decisions on my needed treatment and care. I was seen for pain in my right elbow do to a torn tendon from over use of my arm. I was previously seen and treated with physical therapy for about 8 months with no relief. When I was referred to Dr. Torres she immediately requested an MRI to properly diagnose might right elbow pain. Once a tear was discovered she explained the PRP procedure to me thoroughly and we both agreed it was the best action to take at the time. Once I was off anti-inflammatories for the allotted time frame Dr. Torres performed the PRP injections into my right arm. It was painful for the first few days but as time went by my arm was feeling better. By my 6 week follow up appointment I feel no pain in my arm and I extremely pleased with the outcome of the procedure. Dr. Torres has been professional and thorough thru out our visits and I highly recommend her to anyone needing the same type of PRP injections.
