After evaluation, Dr Fern scheduled the vein procedure for the the following week. I was given detailed instructions on how to handle the vein if it should rupture before he could do the repair and told to stop blood thinners 3 days before the procedure. The day of the procedure the veins were visualized with ultrasound to guide the injection of Varithena. Dr Fern was careful to minimize the discomfort of the injection by slowing down if I felt pain. Very pleased with Dr & staff

I met Dr. David Fern following a procedure which required emergency surgery. Dr. Fern was informative during the first meeting, explaining every step of the surgery he was going to perform. After the surgery, he was very attentive and continued to monitor me closely until discharge. He was very pleasant and I felt like I was his only patient. Dr. Fern has been wonderful. I had a mysterious pain in my stomach that landed me in the ER. I came in for an appointment and he had me in surgery by the following afternoon. The follow ups have been easy and I feel so much better than I did before. He has a very calming demeanor and nice bed-side manner.
