Dr. Poss is incredibly kind. He sat with me, discussed my MRI results from a previous doctor, and advised what he felt (you know, as the doctor) would help me. Too many times I have been treated like a drug seeker, given my age, but I never once felt that way with him, even with the necessary urine sample required. He didn't throw a bottle of pills at me and send me on my way. We discussed immediate as well as long-term care and solutions. Excellent Doctor.

“I was very happy with my out come.”

I have had lower back pain for several years and had to have 3 back surgeries. I still was having lower back pain so Dr. Poss suggested have my nerves burned alone my spine. Well I had it done and I am so glad I did for the first time in years I don't have any pain. Dr. Poss is a wonderful doctor, I would recommend him to anyone that had pain.

“Very UnProfessional Provider”

Not only did the provider not perform the required elements of a E&M required for a face to face encounter. He made me feel as if I was wasting his time and that it was foolish that I was even there. He did not perform and physical example to assess the hematoma on my lower back that is right next to my spine that I've had for over 3 weeks after and bad fall and hitting my spine on the step where I fell. He refused to review my history with me. Worst MD experience every.

I can't say enough about my experience from start to finish with Dr Chadduck and the entire staff. I had a severally herniated disc with severe pain and a first baby on the way in a couple of months. There was no way I could have been dealing with a newborn and the pain I was in. Thanks to Dr Chadduck I'm holding my baby boy with no pain. Thank you so much!

When dealing with this type of pain, patience and understanding is greatly appreciated. Usually doctors don't have a completely balanced staff. My visit today consisted of laughter from the initial warming visit from the receptionist, the laughter and complete calmness from my nurse, down to the staff in the procedure room. Not many people could say they had a good time at the doctors, but I can!! You guys rock, thank you!!

All the people I've dealt with here both upstairs and downstairs have been so helpful and friendly. The office seems to run very efficiently but what stands out is how nice everyone is. “successful diagnosis and treatment”

I was referred for a nonspecific weakness and acute pain in my hip and thigh following knee revision surgery. I had been in physical therapy for 6 months with little or no improvement. After reviewing my MRI and an exam, he was able to determine that the source of my debilitating discomfort had been misdiagnosed. He then provided injections in the appropriate area and, within the next two weeks, I made steady improvement. I can now sleep comfortable and I am gaining strength in walking.

I had a disc herniation at L5-S1. Dr Selznick performed a laminectomy / discectomy. I went home same day & was walking that evening. I only missed 2 weeks of work (office environment). My leg pain (sciatica) was relieved immediately. My recovery was uneventful. The people at VA Brain & Spine were wonderful to me. They helped me navigate all the insurance approvals & were on time for appointments - short wait times. I definitely recommend Dr. Selznick & VA Brain & Spine.

You can tell when you first meet Dr.Poss how concerned and loving he is towards his patients. He will never give up trying to help his patients. I can not thank him enough for letting me live my life with my pain being relieved. I just love everyone here from the front desk to Dr.Poss, Brian Lapp is so helpful and very detailed with my treatment, always!
Just know that no matter what they will go above and beyond to help everyone. I love love love everyone. Receptionists are so nice!

i love coming to see Dr. Ashcraft. He made me feel very comfortable and explained everything that he is doing while giving injection. He is very patient and listens to everything that is said. i had a lot of fear when I first came to see him in May. He eased my fears and made me feel much better. i will always come back to have my spinal injections done by him if given a choice, and I did again in October. Thank you for making me feel better.

“I have a new pain management center!”

Past experiences with steroid injections into my lumbar have been stressful and painful. Dr. Ashcraft explained everything throughout my procedures and the painful portion I had experienced in the past was a breeze. I will never go anywhere else for my pain management.

I have very happy with Virginia Brain and Spine. I have so far had 4 injections and when I first came in I could hardly turn over in bed and now have more than 50% relief and can do so much more. I am Thankful to have doctors that take time and no complaints. The front staff have always been helpful. Christy Andrews is great also, she has always returned my calls and answered all questions and went above and beyond when authorization was needed from my insurance.

“Amazing Neurosurgeon!”

Dr Selznick is one of the best doctors I've ever seen for anything. He really listened to me, he went over my MRI and my options. We eventually decided surgery was our best option. The day of surgery he made me and my family comfortable and at ease. I dont think I would have trusted anyone else to do the surgery!
