“Did not listen to my needs”

They did not listen to my needs or how I was feeling or provide appropriate reaction to a new pain condition. They told me I am too young to have anything serious wrong and kept giving me injections even though they were not helping. My bill is much higher than at any other doctor I have visited and they treat you like you are seeking drugs no matter how much pain you are in.

Starting the moment you walk in to the office. From the two wonderful and professional staff at the front desk. To the phone calls you get to set up your next appointment. “Compassionate team”

The whole process with the team leading up to my procedure and the procedure itself has been non stressful. I suffer from PTSD and the team was very understanding. I didn't know that I could find a team like I have here with Dr. Vladimir Fiks who truly want to help me manage my pain like this. They listen to me and encourage me and I dont feel so alone as I did before coming here struggling with everyday pain 24/7. Some doctors don't want to help with ongoing issues that I have had.Bridget has explain things I have struggled with for a long time. The office staff are top notch. I love the text messages and reminders, Gabriel treats me with respect and dignatey and is very pleasant.. I have had chronic pain for more than 10 years. During that time I've had a number of other doctors. Most of them did not make very much effort to understand the source of my pain or how to help me manage the pain. Other doctors and their staff were often disrespectful. to me. Dr. Fiks and his staff have been EXCELLENT in every way!!!! . They have continually worked with me to try to find the source of the pain and ways to reduce and manage the pain. They always listen to me, take time to answer all of my questions and always show me the ultimate respect! Due to their efforts I'll be starting a trial for a pain interruptor with a reasonable chance for success. Dr. Fiks and his staff are always friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about my personal situation. They always make me feel comfortable in the knowledge that they are trying to help me in every way possible. They are a delight to work with. I give them the highest value in every aspect and recommend them to everyone.!!!!!

I have been told for the first time by bridgit that our goal was "improved quality of life" and she not only has improved my quality of life but is willing to help me with other diagnosis' like back x rays, injections, or getting me a tens unit to help with pain outside of and incudling medication pain management. I recommened bridget to anyone I meet who has chronic pain and this center has been key in keeping me as mobile as I am and not in horrible pain 10/10

I'm a fairly new patient to Dr. Fiks' office. I've seen him a handful of times and tdy I came in with questions about my bill. The girl at the front desk was able to assist me in reaching the correct person to discuss my questions. I was able to get the answers I needed and have yet to have a problem. The girl at the front desk is so sweet and always smiling. I'm surprised she always remembers my name, it makes me feel cared for by this office. Today was also my first time seeing one of the PA's. I must say that Dr. Fiks has had some good taste in his team. They have demonstrated such kindness and care for my pain, I would recommend this office to anyone! Thank you all.

If you're looking for a great pain doctor who cares about you and your well-being, then this is the place. Unfortunately with age as most of us know, I can tend to forget to bring up small things in my visits with Bridget. Kendra at the front desk is so nice and always quick to direct me where I need to go. In the back, David has been so kind to answer my questions when I call. And Carmen is just so perfectly bubbly and sweet you cant help but catch her contagious laughter. Lisa is the reason I was able to get in when I was a new patient, and from time to time you'll catch her up front sharing some sort of good news. This group really truly cares to help their patients.

I have had pain in my back for years, in 2019 the pain got worse. My PCP referred me to Dr. Fiks at Advanced Pain Management Center. After a CAT scan and injections I am pain free.

not enough space for what I need to say here. A lot of doctors and specialists have seen me but then discarded my observations or pain and then passed over me so someone else will treat me. “Care you can trust”

have been a patient of Dr.Fiks for a few years, and my experience has been great. The staff has always been decent and accommodating, and with their help I have been able to reclaim my life. They offer numerous services, which are all available in their office. The PACs working with Dr. Fiks are knowledgeable and understanding. There are some inconvenient aspects, such as random medication count appointments, but I have found that these precautions are common. I highly recommend Dr. Fiks.

“What a great 0ver All Experience!”

Got wonderful help from Darlene in getting all the paperwork needed for my visit so she made what of could have been a difficult process much easier. At the initial visit, was greeted with a smile by Kelly, got wonderful care from Gabriel and then Dr. Fiks came in and really listened to me and had ideas of ways to help me. Dr. Fiks greeted me and reviewed what was going to occur in terms of the procedure. The staff was friendly and attentive; I felt well cared for. Most importantly, Dr. Fiks was gentle and when he performed the actual injection, he told me what he was doing, and it was not painful at all. The aftercare was great, and discharge instructions clear.

“Very Positive Experience”

I was scared and anxious about seeing Dr. Fiks for spinal injections. It only took a short time after meeting Dr. Fiks and he was able to make me feel more about the procedure. Although a bit anxious; I was able to get my injections without any type of sedation. Dr. Fiks injections are amazing. When Dr Fiks puts the numbing injection in my back; it's a tiny prick and then I'm ready for the steroid injection; and all I feel is pressure. Dr. Fiks and his staff keep me busy talking while he completes the procedure in a very short amount of time. I have referred him to close friends who also need pain relief. Dr. Fiks is the total package - a skilled physician who takes time to listen, answers all my questions, and offers options for my situation. I can say with certainty that you won't regret choosing Dr. Fiks for pain management.

“SI Joint fusion”

I have been coming to the pain center for several years and I always been satisfied with the results of the steroid shots in my back. My latest procedure done 6 months ago was a bone fusion in my SI joint on the right side. After 3 months the pain was much better. After 6 months, No pain at all in my SI joint.

“WONDERFUL CARE for a hard case (me)”

Ms. Lahm and Ms. Rodriguez are absolutely wonderful and I've been coming in every month for quite some time. I've got severe endometreosis and I've had multiple big surgeries. I was left in pain and desperate to get my life back. Thank goodness I looked here. Without these ladies understanding, competence and education I would be literally by myself with my pain. They help me get my life back. Seriously. This is a big deal for people in pain- especially women that have been "blown off" for having a serious (with picture proof) disease that can ruin lives. They don't guilt me, make me feel bad, or put me down...where if I go to another hospital I can get that negative feedback. I know how precious this service is, in other words. They LISTEN to me. I am so grateful. So, so, very grateful. Thank you, ladies. You literally saved my life.

Dr. Fiks and his staff are very caring and compassionate. I have been sent to Dr. Fiks' office to help treat injuries from a work accident for a couple of years. My primry care provider, Dr. Puziss, was right to send me to this office! One of my most cucial and important things Dr. Fiks did for me was a discography on my low back. It is because of this procedure that he did, in addition to other imaging I was able to get my back surgery.

I personally did not think the neurostimulator did anything for me. The next procedure gave me back my life. I had not been able to golf for several years, and I am ow golfing. I am a little stiff from being fused L2 thru L5, but I am not in pain now. I highly recommend this procedure.

“Stunning success with Stem Cell procedure!”

I had been reduced to almost no neck mobility and tinnitus due to arthritis in C1\C2. Dr Fiks suggested the Stem Cell procedure; with some skepticism, I did the procedure. After a day of discomfort, my neck was comfortable and, with Physical Therapy, I have regained almost full mobility in all axis for my neck after 2-1/2 months. Insurance being what it is, I had to pay out of pocket--it was worth every penny!

At this point, I am pain free and have only a distant hint of tinnitus. While it is requiring some adjustments, the absence of neck pain is thrilling!

I am a more recent new patient of Dr. Fiks. My daughter tends to bring me in for my monthly visits and I enjoy seeing the Dr but I also enjoy seeing Bridget. She take the time to listen to my problems and helps me look at each area and prioritize them. Director of First Impressions Kendra. She starts off your visit with a warm smile and a kind listening ear. Then you are escorted to the back where you get an opportunity to be guided to your premedical questions along with a nice to see you glad you are feeling better or how can we help you feel better attitude. I am bilingual so if feels like family when I get help from Carmen. David is also impressive he works on following in his family legacy and getting his education. Gabriel is glad to share his love of his family. I appreciate that they enjoy working but have other priorities in life to fulfill them. Mr. Shore is always ready to dig right into whatever he see's as a help to my pain. Bridget brings her love of softball and her dog, I know she cares for me as an individual. Dr, Fiks, I cannot say enough about him and the environment he and his lovely wife have created. Thank you for all your sacrifice to help myself and others have a good quality of life. Priceless.

“Worth the Wait!”

Okay people, let me say one thing... TOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT! This office runs a little bit different then most from what I've seen, and even though getting registered was the longest process, it has been worth the wait every second! Lisa is the new patient coordinator at APMC and I had a lot of questions regarding the packet and filling it out. This was the best experience I have ever has with an injection procedure. The staff was kind and treated me like a human being. In the past, I had a number of really bad experiences with injection procedures in art because the physician performing the injection did not take time to listen to me. Dr, Fiks is an amazing doctor who knows exactly what needs to be done. He has worked on my back in the past and has always been able to identify the place for the injection with great precision, and did it in a way that I felt minimum pain. “The procedure reliefed my pain and greatly improved my quality of life.”

“I had a mild surgical procedure which lessened severe back pain”

Dr. Fix was very professional and listened to my symptoms with sensitivity. I never felt as if he was dismissing my severe back symptoms at all. He made a corroborating diagnosis of stenosis in my spine and examined my xrays carefully. He recommended a new procedure that involved minor surgery. I am in less pain today than I was before the surgery. I have high regard for Dr. Fix and am so glad I found him to help manage my back pain.

“A Dr who listens and believes what I say I am experiencing.”

I have been coming to this clinic for about 12 years. I really appreciate that they are willing to work with me on different ways to control my pain. We even have treatment for my fibro that allows me to choose where the pain needs to be treated. They even are able to give me an epidural in their surgical center right downstairs. This means not having to deal with the hospital because everything is in the same building. The PAs that work here are wonderful I would reccomend Mr Shor Or Bridget for anyone. In fact I have sent people here with confidence that teyh would be well taken care of.
