Referred ti Dr, Weiss for a knee injury. As this was a work related injury, and my first experience with "workers comp", I was concerned about "quality of care". Wow, was I wrong! Dr. Weiss and his staff exceeded all of my preconceived notions and put my mind at ease. The diagnosis was fully explained and as the patient, I felt all my concerns and questions were answered and explained effectively to allow me to choose the path of treatment. When I first visited Dr. Weiss we were not sure I would be able to keep my thumb. I had massive skin infection. After two visits
to the ER, they recommended Dr. Weiss for a surgical repair.
I was given surgery the day after my first visit with him. The results are amazing. My thumb looks somewhat normal day.
There is still a little healing to take place, but given the condition it was in just a few days ago I feel a miracle has happened.
Dr. Weiss is extremely thorough, and a pleasure.

When I was referred to Dr. Weis from the Novato Sutter Community Hospital ER, I didn't hesitate to make an appointment. I was hurt at work and was referred to a couple other surgeons through my work before I got to see Dr. Weiss. The other surgeons tufrned down my surgery due to the complications of the injury. My first visit with Dr. Weiss he walked in and felt my shoulder and said "yup, you need surgery". I asked him if he would be able to do it after reviewing my MRI and he said no problem. Dr. Weiss and Jennifer Lo are a great team. The diagnosis was very quick and accurate. They provided useful information as to what to expect if I did the surgery to my left thumb and what to expect if I did nothing. I had the surgery and at 7 weeks I have great movement and range of motion. If anything came up with other parts of my hand etc or other hand I would only contact Dr. Weiss.
