I’m glad I had it, I showed it to the receptionist, she went to go ask if they could fit me in. Of course I wanted almost 2 hours to be called back. I hope what happened to me, can be fixed, making sure receptionist locks in appointments before she hands card to patient.

Dr. Rizkalla took time to explain my diagnosis and how we can treat it and possibly reverse it or get it under control so that it will not affect my day to day. He explained about how the medication he was prescribing would help protect me and went in detail about why it was important to take at night as well as what could happen to my body if I didn't take it. Also, he gave me other information on who I need to contact to get more education about diabetes. Dr. Rizkalla took time to explain my diagnosis and how we can treat it and possibly reverse it or get it under control so that it will not affect my day to day. He explained about how the medication he was prescribing would help protect me and went in detail about why it was important to take at night as well as what could happen to my body if I didn't take it. Also, he gave me other information on who I need to contact to get more education about diabetes. He told me my blood cell counts (red & white) were very good and my platelets were fine. He said my cholesterol levels (HDL & LDL) were good. My LDL level significantly decreased; that was a good sign since it's the bad cholesterol. He also said my A1C was holding steady. Dr. Rizkalla proceeded to do my exam. He was thorough and asked if I ever had allergy testing. I told him it had been at least 10+ years, so he made a note for the allergist to contact me and schedule testing. Dr. Rizkalla was caring, and he spent time with me. He listened to my concerns (anxiety & stress) I'm currently experiencing with an ageing parent. I'm a new patient and i really liked that Dr. Roberts took the time her and i both needed to go over my medicines and which is best for me. She wasn't rushed or in a hurry. She listened and it was nice to see that. It was only my first visit but so far so good. I'll update if anything changes.

Dr. Roberts is the same every visit. She listens to me and she gives thorough answers. She spends the amount of time needed. I feel as if my concerns have been addressed with the course of action determined. Her staff is excellent as well.
