For a root canal, my experience was really great! Root canals are not typically a thing that people are happy about, but Dr. Hoftiezer really went out of his way to make my experience wonderful. I also needed to preach at a funeral later that day, and Dr. Matt and Laura were so encouraging, and accommodating to my needs, to get me out on time and have me able to speak. Matt is also very friendly and kind. He is informative and knowledgeable and makes me feel comfortable every time I come in. Thats saying something because I don't ever really look forward to dentist appointments. I appreciate his honesty and I didn't feel like he was telling that every single tooth needed to be fixed to get the most from my pocket. I was even concerned about a crown that I have and he was forthright in telling me that replacing it may not make much difference and that it was sealed properly so ultimately it would be fine. I feel that was a moment he could have easily taken advantage of me like other dentists have done in the past and he didnt. I appreciate the kind, positive atmosphere Nautical Dental provides and I will always be a patient.
