My first visit to Dr. Ahuero was early in 2023. I was nervous about having surgery on my eyes. After a thorough exam and tests, she concluded that the surgery was warranted but there was no rush. She wanted me to feel comfortable with my decision. I did see her again a second time months later. She listened and answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. I scheduled the surgery and the day went on exactly as she had described. I received excellent care from all in the office. After following all pre and post op instructions, I had minimal issues no pain and no bruising. I am so pleased with my results and I highly recommend Dr. Ahuero.

Dr. Ahuero performed two minor eye procedures in 2019. She is a skilled, caring physician. She takes time to inform her patients and answer questions. I have never felt rushed and I have always been seen at the scheduled appointment time. Not only did Dr. Ahuero mail a sample ointment to my home but clear instructions were left on my voicemail. When I had a question, the office staff immediately took my call. Dr. Ahuero, her assistants, and the front desk staff are excellent. 10 stars!!

I had a relatively minor but necessary medical procedure performed recently by Dr. Ahuero. My internet sleuthing turned up lots of stories of bleeding and bruising that would last for weeks from the procedure and I went into it pretty worried that I would not be able to go to work and/or wear eye makeup for a long time . Dr. A was done with the procedure in 20 minutes. It was a complete success and I had less that 24 hours of anything noticeable in terms of swelling. No one could tell at all when I returned to work on Monday after Friday afternoon procedure. I also have to commend the quick follow up to my questions when I submitted them online. Thanks!

From the first visit, which was concise & to the point, through the surgery (which was over-the-top), this was by far THE best experience ever. I don't say this lightly as this surgery #35, and my first time I had plastics involved. Super staff, outstanding surgical team, and I do not have enough positive adjectives to describe Dr. Ahuero. Headaches and dry eyes are gone! Dr. Ahuero was so patient and explained what I could expect and how things should go. I was afraid I wouldn't remember everything I should do after surgery, but they write everything for you in a very clear manner, so I didn't have to is "wonder" if I was remembering everything. And her staff is SO friendly and helpful. I called several times with questions and they were so patient. An all around awesome experience. Thank You!!

Some initial tests and paperwork seemed excessive for the procedure, but was not too difficult to accomplish if your primary physicians office is organized and helpful. Surgery went as planned, recovery instructions very complete, follow up visits were as scheduled and all questioned addressed. In Summary, a very professionally managed process. Final results have not yet been achieved, and final review with office is still a few weeks away, as I am still midway in the recovery timeline. But, given how accurate the "doctor team" has been, I expect the results will meet or beat my expectations.

I haven’t had surgery yet, but was given a suggestion to use a heated eye mask for my dry eyes. This is amazing, as it has opened up clogged glands and my eyes are beginning to feel more lubricated. Very friendly staff. No waiting - in fact, I was seen before scheduled time for consultation and procedure. Dr. Ahuero called Thursday evening when pathology report came in instead of waiting to call the next business day (Friday). I really appreciated that.
