Very efficient check in. I was taken back for vitals right at my appointment time. Medical assistant was attentive and courteous and said the doctor would be in to see me in a minute. It was 45 minutes before the doctor came in (I thought I was forgotten). I found the doctor to be very knowledgeable and really listened to me. He had a very good “bedside manner” and I have already recommended him to 3 of my close friends who will make an appointment with him. I am a patient of Dr Keith who is leaving the practice so I am very thankful to have Dr Fernandez now!

He is very thorough. Exhausted multiple avenues to try to get to the bottom of my symptoms. Excellent listener and compassionate. Very personable. I appreciate that he is willing to try non-drug treatments as well. He also investigated different body systems to explain my symptoms, including an exhaustive panel of labs and a brain CAT scan to see if it could be neurological.

I've had the pleasure of making an appointment with Dr Fernandez and he took the time out to listen to my issue and decided on a course of action to figure out what was going on . He also saw my father who had a very bad duodenal ulcer and he explained the entire thing to us so we better understood where it was and how bad it was . He was very thorough. However had trouble with the staff. After my office visit, Publix called and said my prescription would cost $550. No way! I tried to get back to the office to see if the physician could recommend something more affordable. Had lots of trouble getting through, finally a gentleman answered and said he would give this information to the appropriate woman and she would call me back...did not happen. Called this morning and was given a voice message for Priscilla, stated my problem..still nothing!! What do I have to do to get a prescription to help alleviate my symptoms? Now we are going into the weekend..I guess urs hopeless.

As a new patient who relocated to the area, Dr. Fernandez took the time to listen to my history and come up with a solid plan going forward. I have been visiting gastroenterologist for almost 40 years with chronic bowel problems. When my long time gastroenterologist retired, dr. Fernandez was recommended as one of the doctors who is taking over. Dr. Fernandes is very well informed on Gastro intestinal issues. As a very well informed patient I am able to say this as a fact. He is extremely thorough, comes in, having completely reviewed my record and gives me information about my condition to make me understand things much more clearl
