I also had a sudden fall, and he was able to schedule a time to take care of the situation without having to wait. It's great to know he is there. I feel very confident in his capable hands. This human approach to doctor/patient interaction is, for all intents and purposes, non-existent today. He listened to me, had clear explanations, and answered my questions. At no time did I feel rushed. I highly recommend Dr. Ahn and am quite thankful that he was recommend to me by my primary-care doctor.

He had the xray on the big screen and explained the issues and what he saw. Very professional and thorough. He explained my diagnosis and they gave me a splint to protect my thumb for better healing. His staff is excellent and they are sharp, professional and kind. When do you see that? I appreciate the doctor and staff at this office.

He required x-rays to be sure of the diagnosis & they took a lots of views to get a clear picture of why I’m having my pain. I trust him & his advise to get better. I know I’m in good hands.

His team is on point. My only concern was they had a bio-waste basket that was overflowing with hypodermic needles in the corner and my 3 year old was able to pull a needle out of the top of the bin very easily. It was hidden in the corner so I didn’t see it at first. Luckily he didn’t stick himself with it and all the implications that could come with that.

I had been suffering from carpal tunnel in both hands and also head issues with my left elbow after an accident. You can only imagine how difficult life is when you’re suffering from pain and limited mobility in both hands. After the completion of all three surgeries my life is back to normal! I found Dr. AHN through a friend of mine who had her wrist repaired by him 8 years ago. She is very pleased with the outcome; her wrist is as good as new! Dr. AHN‘s staff is excellent. They answer the phone, greet you when you arrive, do their very best not to make you wait. I have no reservations about recommending Dr. Ahn. He has done a great job for me. I cut my hand removing an avocado pit and cut through a nerve in my hand. I went to Dr. Ahn b/c I had no feeling in my finger. He was available to do surgery the following week to reconnect the nerve. One month post surgery, I now have feeling in my finger again with minimal scarring. Everyone’s different of course, however I believe he has great experience and knowledge and that’s why I’ve had such excellent results. His office staff is very friendly too. Overall, glad I did the surgery and glad this is where I went.

I visited Dr. Ahn upon a recommendation from an acquaintance and from also seeing my regular hand surgeon at Kerlan Jobe. Seeing Dr. Ahn for my much needed surgery on my thumb was the exact place for me to be! Dr. Ahn was thorough; he was patient & extremely detailed explaining what my X-rays read in layman’s terms, what his goal would be in putting my thumb back together as it was originally before my accident, and what the recovery would look like with OT. Dr. Ahn has excellent communication skills and is an excellent surgeon. My scar is meticulous. It’s hard to even see! I am so happy I saw Dr. Ahn after first going to Kerlan Jobe. My experience at Kerlan Jobe was less than disappointing. In addition, Dr. Ahn’s staff is outstanding, Justin and Martin don’t miss a beat with follow up and details. Dr. Ahn has an exceptional team!

Dr. Ahn is very personable and easy to speak with. He is busy taking notes but you know he is listening and not just hearing. He has an excellent bedside/exam table manner that puts you at ease. His explanations are to the point and in language that you can understand instead of a lot of medical jargon. Only critique is that he sometimes seems rushed or in a hurry. Otherwise, everything, including the surgical procedure, was excellent. I would highly recoomend Dr. Ahn if you are in need of a hand specialist.
