Both of my ankles were a mess from previous sprains and fractures. Here I was in my mid 30s thinking I was going to have issues with swelling and pain the rest of my life. Did NOT want surgeries. Dr. Papas spent more time with me than any other provider had in the past. He provided a clear description of my problem and and clear plan for the blood platelet treatment. I was in a car accident that left me broken in more ways than one. I didn't understand what to do as far as my post recovery was concerned, so I took the advice of my Attorney, who was just trying to help, and I ended up going through Chiropractic treatments that didn't help. I've been dealing with Morton's Neuroma pain in my right foot for about a year, and was diagnosed with cubital tunnel syndrome in my left elbow two years ago. I had been getting cortisone and alcohol injections for my foot regularly for several months at my podiatrist, and it seemed that the pain was getting worse. I met and spoke with Dr. Papas at the race expo for Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic, where I first learned that platelet lysate could be a good option for both my foot and my elbow. I scheduled an evaluation shortly thereafter, and he confirmed with ultrasound that he believed the procedure would help. It's been 6.5 weeks since the procedure, and I'm walking normally again without pain, including barefoot at home - a huge improvement from where I was before. I can also keep my elbow bent for longer periods than I previously could without pain, and the pain is less. Dr. Papas made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend him!

For years now I've been experiencing pain and numbness that would come and go in my right hand. This was due to carpal tunnel. Dr Papas thought upon evaluation that he would be able to help me. Came in with a torn labrum in my left shoulder, the pain was ridiculous. After deciding to try this before a normal surgery (i cant be put under without major health risks) I came in for my second appt. Followed EVERY instruction I was given to the letter from taking the supplements to eating the special diet I was put on.I had my procedure done 10/22/2020. Today was my 90day follow up. I'm in zero pain and the tear in my shoulder is healed. Only thing to show it was even damaged is a small scar on the labrum. It would've been foolish of me not to explore this option to avoid have a surgery that wouldn't have helped me as much. I've now been cleared to start playing billiards again, as well as auto racing.

“Amazing experience treating my shoulder pain”

I am a 93-yo man who injured his shoulder doing yard work. I was in pain but because of Covid I put off going to see anyone. Eventually I made an appt with an ortho. We tried Cortisone and PT, which were not much help.
I made an appt with Regenexx Tampa Bay. It was the best move I could have made. The receptionist, Karen and nurse, Ana, were both extremely nice. Dr. Papas is a nice young man who gave me a thorough exam that lasted over an hour, including x ray, ultrasound and diagnosis of a partially torn rotator cuff. I felt so reassured after consulting with him, with no rush he answered all of our questions. His recommendation was PRP (they draw blood, prep it in their lab, and reinject your shoulder. I had about 4 days of post procedure pain. During my course I was in contact with a very nice lady, Kim, my coordinator. Words cant describe how helpful she was. I am on the mend and getting back to normalcy. If you are contemplating surgery, talk to Regenexx first.
