Unfortunately, I have been in a situation where I have required multiple eye surgeries and care the last few years, including both retinal and corneal procedures. Fortunately, I was referred to Dr Masters by my retinal specialist, Dr Komanski. Dr Masters replaced a damaged IOL in my right eye, and has performed a DALK cornea transplant in my left required due to an unrelated infection. Excellent attention, explanations, and understanding when I sought second opinion. Highly recommend.

I would be lying if I said that I wasn't nervous before I had my EVO ICL surgery, especially when it was mentioned that I would be one of the first ones that Asheville Eye has ever done; however, the staff and Dr. Masters were great to work with and quickly alleviated my worries. I went from not being able to function throughout the day if something happened to my glasses or contacts, to being able to wake up in the morning and go about my day without the burden of glasses or contacts. I no longer have to worry about what will happen throughout the day if my glasses were to break or a contact lens was ripped. I would go through with the surgery again in a heartbeat.

I highly recommend Dr. Masters!! The newest and young doctor that I saw for some cataract and corneal problems. He was new and I had never been to him before. He said I needed surgery, and I had become almost toatally blind in one eye. He told me it would not be like normal cataract surgery because he had to remove the old lens and replace it. He said it would take much more time to heal. At my age (almost 90) . I thought “This is it””. But miraculously, it began to get better !
