I was able to finish out my career and ultimately end up at the University of Florida playing football. My hand and wrist healed perfectly. I was a transfer from Trident, lowcountry orthopedics. I was not please with the care I was getting from them. I wanted / needed a second opinion. The difference I would compare like college grades, I moved from a C- organization to an A+ institution. Overall I was impressed my Dr. Kokko's ability to listen and diagnose and resolve my issue. I am in the healing process now, but am making leaps and bounds over where I was.

My daughter had a cyst removed from her finger recently. The care she received was EXCELLENT. Dr Kokko and his staff are kind, understanding and patient... add to that Dr. Kokko himself is very knowledgeable and caring. He sewed her finger up beautifully! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND him!

He listens to me and doesn't try to shrug me off. I hope he will remain on staff here (VAMC) for a long time. I appreciate the entire surgical team from check-in to check-out. Especially how they treated my mother and father. Everyone was cordial, informative and made me laugh to calm me before the surgery. It was cool to have an all-girl team with the exception of Dr. Kokko. Bravo to you all. PS. Dr. Harmon was helpful too.

Saw Dr Kokko for a "trigger finger." He saw me immediately within a day of the issue. My finger healed perfectly. He is kind, thoughtful and most importantly very thorough and knowledgeable. Our children had injuries that required orthopedic intervention. Excellent guy and fantastic physician.
