I was having severe lower back pain that had me bed ridden for 6 months and couldn't get anyone to help. I had to advocate for myself and was so tired of getting the run around from every doctors office I called until I called Dr. D'Orsi. He got me in within a week to see his PA, and him within a few weeks. I had a herniated disk, and had surgery soon thereafter. He listened, he was patient, and kind, and understanding. Dr. Dorsi is the best neurosurgeon in the world. I had 2 back surgeries (Levels L5-S1 and L3-L4) before I met him and was really nervous about the third one, which was waiting for me. He did a great job on my L4-L5 herniated disc and made the trust between physicians and myself. I still have a lot to go to eliminate the issue, but he was a big support of my healing process. I highly recommend Dr. Dorsi as the surgeon who is capable of doing sophisticated treatments.

My spinal cord was compressed but other doctors were not helping me. It was like being electrocuted with every movement. Dr. Dorsi did my surgery fixing previous hardware issues as well as fusing another level. He also fixed the spinal cord compression. He saved my life!

I went in to Dr. Dorsi after trying everything under the sun to repair a herniated disc in my lower back. After looking over my MRIs, he recommended full disc replacement. He explained the procedure thoroughly, including the risks associated with it. It was important to him I did not make the decision for surgery lightly, which I really appreciated. I had a paddle stimulator put in my back oct 2019. It was the best thing I could have done. My pain level at this point has gone down at least 50% and climbing. We are still working on getting the right program down for me. Jenna and Dr. Dorsi have been so helpful in this process. I would highly recommend this office to anyone. They are available when ever I need them. Also working with the rep Sara from Nevro has been a god send. She has been available to me when ever I need her. So far this is the best thing I could have done for myself. I highly recommend this to anyone having the kind of pail I have been having.

I have been seeing Dr Dorsi for over 10 years for various back ailments. I unfortunately was not able to have him for a surgery 3 years ago, however, he has been there for the last two. At this point I feel great and I am optimistic that we are going to be a good spot going forward. He has always been clear in his explanations, and in his diagnosis. What he says could/should happen, typically does. His team is always friendly and pleasant! The only challenge ever is how great he is, there is a bit of a wait to get in to see him. Having said that, that is usually the case for the great ones. Whenever possible, they have made accommodations for me and I am grateful for it!

I had debilitating back pain for over 5 years and couldn't sleep at night because of the pain. After trying 4 epidurals and 2 ablations for my lower back pain.Dr. Dorsi discussed a spinal cord stimulator solution for me. I read up on it and thought that it could be the solution to get me back to some sort of normalcy in my life. Mainly being able to sleep at night. I did the trail and even though the leads moved during that time, we still felt that the permanent stimulator would work. After getting the surgery, I showed immediate improvement. It took a couple of months for things to really settle in, but now that they have, I sleep like a baby and don't get up with excruciating pain like I used to. I have resumed my normal activities and can even exercise again. I'm going through Physical Therapy right now and after I build my core back up, I think I'll be back to normal. Dr. Dorsi and his team where there for me with both explanations and solutions. I couldn't be happier!

I should have pushed for surgery earlier. Pain from sciatica disappeared almost immediately. Pain from surgery lasted less than three weeks. I neglected the "as needed" clause in pain relief medication and reduced dosage too slowly resulting in severe constipation. Discharge paperwork on medications was so many pages without compact summary that it was hard to follow. I would highly recommend the team.

I had a 'Paddle' inserted in my back. This was to replace a failed Spinal Cord Stimulator. This new Stimulator is working even better than the previous one when it was working. I also have a pain pump inserted and this Spinal Cord Stimulator works better than that. I highly recommend this to anyone suffering from lower back pain. It is a simple surgery done on an outpatient basis and I was fully recovered after a week and was able to get up and move around after the second day.

The spinal stimulator that Dr. Dorsi implanted has already helped with long standing neuropathy (unexplained) on the bottoms of my feet. At about 3 months from surgery time, I'm playing tennis and going to the gym. So far i would say that the condition is at least 50% improved, which has been greatly helpful in daily activities, especially driving where the pressure of the gas pedal was very painful. Glad I went ahead and did the surgery.

So far i would say that the condition is at least 50% improved, which has been greatly helpful in daily activities, especially driving where the pressure of the gas pedal was very painful. Glad I went ahead and did the surgery.

Out of the six surgeons a have had, Dr Dorsi is at the top of list. He repaired L5 - S1 so well I was out of hospital in 2 days. Was able to lower pain meds after 1 month. Now after 1 year my mobility is as near normal as I could have ever hoped for and at this level pain free. I do need another solution at C7 - T1 and am so relieved to be working with him for as am very confident in him that we will find the best way forward

My experience with the Abbott back stimulator has been a very positive one. It has reduced my overall severe pain level significantly (80 percent at least). Having control over how much reduction in pain I receive is in my hands alone. I would recommend this procedure to anyone who has back pain issues. Excercise in addition to the stimulator will also help reduce pain levels, especially stretching. I chose this procedure over spinal cord fusion, which is not something I wanted to do.
