I had submental liposuction for a double chin I have had all my life. I hated having pictures taken of me because of how I looked. My nose was broken when playing football as a child. My left nostril was 95% closed and my right was severely obstructed. I lived with this for 40+ years. After being diagnosed with a sleep disorder I was prescribed with a C-PAP machine. I could not breathe with it. My internist recommended I have this corrected. The surgery was over in an hour and was followed by normal, but miserable nasal congestion. But, when taking my first breath during my followup visit, I cried. I could breathe again!!!

I saw Dr. Maack initially 5 years ago to discuss surgery to fix my deviated septum. I held off due to the fear of pain. After a weeklong hike in Peru this summer, I was ready to do the surgery so that I could breathe normally. Almost a week after my surgery, I'm very pleased with the result. My pain was minimal and more of a discomfort for the first 24 hours. Dr. Maack cleaned out both nostrils 5 days post-op, and I immediately breathed better. So grateful I did this surgery.

I had lip filler with Rae and it was surprisingly easy, Rae was so gentle and informative through the whole process. There was very little discomfort during the procedure and hardly any bruising afterwards. I love my new lips!!

Dr. Maack besides being a real gentle man he is an excellent surgeon. He listens attentively and explains what he is going to do in an easy to understand manner. He showed me how he was going to remove my growth in order to minimize scarring and any facial cavities.

His staff was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable. They even gave my son a warm blanket while he waited in the pre/post op area.

Dr. Maack looked at my upper eyelids, that were clearly drooping onto my eyelashes and assured me he could fix the problem.
The pre-op packet was VERY informative, Dr. Maack's description of what would take place was spot on.
The surgery was painless - never took a pain pill or any Tylenol. The sensation was kind of like having a "raspberry" on your arm or leg - it burned a little bit - NOT painful.
I only took one week off work, that was plenty. VERY satisfied with the results.
