Your manager, got everything handled and I saw Dr Lith, had XRays, was referred to another Ocular Plastic Surgeon, Dr Madonna, who referred me to an experienced Ocular Plastic Surgeon in Windermere, who has me under her care. After a thorough examination of my left eye, Dr. Licht prescribed steroid drops and diagnosed irisitis. I had a follow-up exam a week later and although my eye had a slight improvement, it needed a stronger steroid to expedite the healing process.

Even though I had an allergic reaction to some ointment it was a positive experience. Dr. Licht was skillful and did a good job taking care of me. He fit me into his busy schedule when I had an issue afterwards, no post appt was made after seeing him initially. I would like to comment that the staff specifically Jennifer that I talked to was extremely nice and got me into see him as I am from Michigan and needed to be seen before going home. Also the woman that called me back from the clinical team for Dr. Licht when I had questions was extremely nice as well. Dr. Licht’s assistant when Dr. Licht cared for me issue was not friendly, never smiled, and I mention it only because when your not in your home state, concerned about an issue, some warmth and caring can go a long way. She was skilled at what she did but bedside manner was lacking.

Destiny was very professional and competent during the initial part of my exam. Dr. Licht was also very professional, competent and thorough during my exam. I did not have a good experience with my last eye doctor, so it is very comforting to finally find a very capable and experienced eye doctor.

As I wasn't sure exactly where I was going or what to expect, I arrived 25 minutes early for my appointment. The front desk/greeter was quite pleasant & quickly realized she was missing just 1 piece of information, took that & asked me to have a seat. Prepared to be waiting a while, I emersed myself in my book and almost missed the calling of my name just minutes later. The technician (Stephanie?) directed me back to the testing room with pleasantries and a smile. She explained every aspect of the tests with knowledge and a bit of humor and after wiping down anything that my skin could possibly come in contact with, tested away. She answered any and all of my questions, took extra precautions when I freaked a bit to make sure I was OK with the procedure and after we were done, walked me to the door with a genuinely sincere "Have a nice day". All in all, I dealt with pleasant, knowledgeable people.

This was my first visit with Dr. Licht. He was kind, friendly and appears to be knowledgeable. I was scheduled for a followup appointment for a biopsy on my lower eyelid. Staff at St. Luke's is efficient and polite.

6 months ago when I made this appt after seeing Dr. Causey, he made it seem that I was definitely going to ha e the laser procedure. He said I had fogging occurring. He said it was common after surgery but he didn't want me to wait a year, he thought that was too long but at 6 months I would notice a change and it would have to be done. I went for my scheduled appt, had the exam, and Dr Licht asked how things were and I told him I haven't noticed and changes. No foggyness, etc. I told him things were fine with my prescription, the tech did take my glasses and check them. She didn't say anything was wrong with them. So. I left with an appt for next year with Dr Causey. They told me if I had a problem I could certainly call them. I guess is was a good appt. I guess all I need to my prescription updated with a current date so I can order more glasses. Do I request that somewhere else. Dr. Licht did a full exam so I should am updated script, right?
