Dr. H. is the greatest!!! I had a soft tissue pain on the top of my right foot that for many months just wouldn't get better. Dr. Horwitz took x-ray's and quickly understood my pain issue and how to relieve it. After an injection to reduce the swelling and ease the pain, I was on my way to healing. Armed with a prescription for Diclofenac topical gel, I was looking forward to having no more problems with my foot. I can't believe I waited so long to see him. I totally recommend Dr. Horwitz.

Dr. Horwitz is a leader in his field, experienced, knowledgeable and did a quality job on my bunion removal/correction. Satisfied with his work and I've already recommended him to others. I did have to ask for specifics of expected financials upfront as I read online that facility costs are extra. Twice it was recorded that I did not have a drug allergy when I am allergic to penicillin. Surgery nurses and anesthesia staff all very polite and professional. Great staff. Tina expert at taking x-rays; she's the only staff to remember to give me the lead vest.

I did have to ask for specifics of expected financials upfront as I read online that facility costs are extra. Twice it was recorded that I did not have a drug allergy when I am allergic to penicillin.

Dr Horwitz gave the appropriate diagnosis to the issues I was having with my foot. He discussed the surgery and scheduled it as soon as possible. After the surgery, he gave though instructions for care of the foot. I was fortunate to not have any pain after the surgery and complete recovery time. I was surprised at the minimal amount of pain post bunion surgery. I was off my pain meds in less than a week, but stayed on anti-inflamatories for a month. Biggest relief was to be back into flat shoes in 8 weeks post-op. This was pricey - but worth it. Helpful hint: I was given a walking boot for a month or so. But I also purchased a surgical shoe which I wore to bed and around the house.

Took care of the ingrown toe nail on the one foot. The numbing of the toe pinched a bit but not bad. It didn't hurt at all. I came in with an extreme case of plantar warts on my feet as well as plantar fasciitis on my right foot. Dr. Horwitz recognized right away that traditional in office treatment for the warts wasn't going to work. He treated my plantar fasciitis in one surgery one the same foot. I would recommend him to anyone going through both of these issues. I haven't been able to walk comfortably without pain for over 2.5 years. After surgery a month ago, I can now walk pain free.
