Comment - “ Excellent surgeon -- my total hip replacement surgery was 100% successful ”
One year ago, Dr. Ring performed my total hip replacement surgery. The outcome could not have been better. Dr. Ring did everything perfectly to ensure successful results. I found Dr. Ring when I was searching the Internet for surgeons in the Lancaster, PA area who use the anterior approach for total hip replacement. He is one of the few who have the training to use that approach. One of his colleagues described Dr. Ring as "meticulous" and that's why I chose him to do my surgery. Fortunately, Dr. Ring was able to use the anterior approach for my surgery. I had almost no pain. Although higher-strength pain medicine was available if I needed it, I had to take only Advil during the recovery period. I progressed quickly from the walker to a cane and then to no assistance at all. During my one-day stay in the hospital, my nurse said "We all like Dr. Ring." That says a lot!
