i am very satisfied with the outcome of my surgery. Dr Zaino did a great job on my hand. i highly recommend him. His surgical skills are very phenomenal . The most important aspect of this surgery is that I am no longer in excruciating pain due to his gifted hands. Jodie, the PA was also very efficient and couldn't be nicer.

I came to Dr Zaino with severe pain in my wrist, from a childhood wrist injury that had left my bones detached and fragmented compounded by carpal tunnel. Dr Zaino was clear and direct on what was going on and the treatment I needed. On Oct. 6, 2020, I accidently seriously cut the fingers on my left hand with a table saw. My pointer finger was missing half of the the inside tip of the finger going back about 5/8s of an inch. The front of my middle finger up to the first joint was pretty much hanging there. I had cut near the bone at the first joint. Dr. Zaino successfully restored the missing portion of my pointer finger with flesh from my palm, and reconnected the front of the middle finger with two rods. Today, 6 months later, if you looked at my hand, you would not be able to tell that I had any injury. Dr. Zaino is the closest thing to a "Miracle Worker" that I have ever encountered. My appreciation goes beyond words.

My daughter suffered a wrist fracture from a snowboarding incident which was surgically repaired by Dr Zaino. He was professional, courteous and patient. The day of the surgery really blew our minds. Not only was the staff at Sparta Surgical Center great, but the time Dr Zaino took with us before and after the procedure was just phenomenal! We didn’t feel as if my daughter was just the next patient of the day. Knowing she had hardware in her wrist made us uneasy and worried about recovery. I had a problem with my hand that has been haunting me since I was a child. I tried dealing with it when I was in high school but the issue kept coming back. When I met Dr.Zaino my anxiety fell. I originally went to doctor Zaino because he had excellent reviews from patients, and he did not disappoint. I was able to get an appointment the same day I called, and once there he quickly and effectively diagnosed my broken metacarpal, even correcting a mistake made by an urgent care I originally went to (I should have just gone directly to Dr Zaino). He even had something I'd never heard of to immobilize my hand (called the knuckle) that was much more comfortable than a cast or plaster/ace bandage, and I was able to remove it when I showered. The office staff was extremely friendly and always made me feel welcomed, the location is easy to get to, and the out of pocket cost was very reasonable even with the cheapest Aetna insurance. I don't like having to go to any doctor, but Dr. Zaino and his staff made it as pleasant as it could possibly be.

The following day, we were able to cast it quickly, and as a result within 3 weeks are able to get the cast off. The doctor was very pleasant, professional and thorough. We would definitely recommend.

Went to Dr. Zaino and his PA Jodie Kunkel after a fall injuring my left elbow. Got an appointment immediately and evaluated for surgery to repair a fracture. The procedure was explained to me and quickly scheduled. Dr. Zaino and Jodie were compassionate and caring thru the whole surgical process. Recovery went very well with their recommendation for therapy at Ivy Rehab. Highly recommend Dr. Zaino/Jodie should you have a need for hand/elbow/arm repair. They are an amazing team and got me to recovery in less than 3 months.

He performed surgery to repair the joint and an external fixation device was used to hold the bones in place while they healed. The device was removed about 10 weeks ago, and I am honestly in complete amazement at the results. The x-rays show a healthy and healed joint and bones, and I have full range of motion back! I feel very fortunate that I came to Dr. Zaino after my injury. He is truly the best of the best, and I have the results to prove it. I had an appointment within an hour of the injury and His PA confirmed that Dr Zaino said Surgery was needed I meet with Dr Zaino the next Morning to go over pro and cons and surgery was scheduled. I know I made a good decision, OT is always needed and followed up with Dr Zaino. within 3 months I am 98% better with my hand.

I’ve been to Dr Zaino for two situations: a broken wrist and a piece of glass embedded in the tip of my right index finger. My field of work requires me to use the computer daily. My day-to-day tasks were frequently reminded that the glass was there. The embedded glass was deep and an ultrasound was required. After being offered my options whether to remove the glass or not, I decided it would be the right decision to have it removed. Even though there was no guarantee the glass could be located during surgery. Dr Zaino was thorough with his ability to resolve this issue. The glass was located and removed. I can’t say enough good things about him, his staff and the surgical center. I highly recommend him.

This was the first time I have ever broken anything and didn't know what to expect. Dr. Zaino was so caring, thorough and skilled that I was confident I was in the right hands. My wrist was broken in a few places and a plate and screws had to be put in. My wrist today is great, there is nothing I can't do with it and I owe it to Dr. Zaino. I can't recommend him enough.

He diagnosed my pain and what the treatment would be. He gave me an injection on the first visit and also suggested I use braces at night for my carpal tunal. Both helped tremendously. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends!

Dr. Zaino was patient and answered all of my questions no matter how trivial they may have been. Now that my injury is completely healed, and I no longer need to see him; he told me if anything came up I would always be welcomed back. That's a good feeling!
