He asked clear questions, explained why he was asking, and presented a detailed, clear treatment plan. Allergy shots for severe seasonal allergies is a major commitment, but so worth it--within one allergy season we saw enormous improvement. Dr. Vassallo and the allergy nurses and office staff are all amazing. Dr. Vassallo clearly explained the process and at each visit the staff is helpful, and frankly do a great job balancing answering your questions, with getting you in and out since the appointments for shots are frequent.

I had chronic ENT infections due to severe allergies for years and years before my PCP suggested it could be allergies. I had a great experience with Dr Vassalo. He is a great listener. He allows you time to explain your concerns and actually face you and make eye contact while listening. Which is good. He then proceeds to explain his findings, his treatment plan while making sure that you understand. Nowadays doctors give more attention to their computer than to their patient. Which was absolutely not the case. The staff was also very knowledgeable. And the clinic is SUPER clean.

He takes down the history, discusses and reviews it with the patient so we are both understanding the same thing, evaluates it, is thoughtful and then proceeds with the examination to measure with the history. He it methodical, patient, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain diagnoses and prognosis AND makes sure the patient UNDERSTANDS!!! He should be famous.

This was my first time to an allergist which was long overdue. Dr. Vassallo was patient with me and explained everything that was going to be done. He also explained the various options. I felt very comfortable and knowledge on the next steps on what I had to do as the patient.

The office staff was great, very friendly and professional. Great COVID saftey precautions in place. Medical staff and Dr. Vassallo were also great. A nice balance of warm and professional without being too formal or disconnected or rushing through the visit.

Dr. Vassallo was patient, knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and experienced. We actually ended up chatting for about 20 minutes, lobbing questions back and forth. It felt great to have that type of experience.
