Dr. C is very good, and my experience with your doctors generally has been good. ENT though is very hard to deal with. Like an inefficient government beauracracy. The most simple request can take forever, starting with a call center. In my Sept. visit with Dr. C, either she or her nurse forgot to include a prescription that Dr. C in our session said she was prescribing. It took 3 calls and roughly 4.5 hours to eventually get it.

I'm compelled to add- My deafness has been mitigated somewhat by a Google app called Google Transcribe which became available in March 2020. The app is quite good. Medical professionals were ALL very impressed with the capabilities. Problem is that the app requires strong Internet signal, preferably though fast WiFi access. The Wayne facility doesn't provide WiFi for patients and cell signal (Verizon) in the office is spotty. Conversation with Dr very challenging (not Dr fault). Patient Internet would be quite helpful. I've been a member of the deaf community for one year and have unfortunately seen how underserved this community is. Apologies for using this to assist this minority segment of population who are so deeply underserved. Try relying on cc you'll see how bad it is.

I’m found Dr Chandrasekhar to be very knowledgeable and gave practical and useful guidance about my medical issue. My concern is that after the hearing test I waited almost 2 hours to see the doctor. Being 24 and being told that you may be having issues with your hearing after going in for simple allergy related congestion which was making my ears feel as if they had fluid in them really placed a lot of stress on me. But after my visit I was at ease and found out that I had almost perfect hearing and that I simply needed a nasal spray to help decrease the congestion. I’m 6 weeks post operation and my hearing has significantly improved.and tinnitus is better. She says it could take up to 3 months for hearing to come back all the way and tinnitus to completely go away. I’m 67 this is by far the best medical experience I’ve had. Dr staff 5 stars all the way

I’ve been to many ENTs, but she is the first one that hasn’t just told me to “get used to it and get on with life”. Both the physician's assistant and the doctor were thorough in their questioning. Dr. Chadrasekhar was willing to spend as much time as necessary answering my questions and concerns. Dr C is delightful, what is not delightful is the wait time in the office. My appointment was for 1:40 and I finally saw dr c around an hour later. I was taken in the exam room and my blood pressure was taken and then i sat along for 20 minutes waiting for the Dr. Another thing, the waiting room is noisy and full of hearing impaired people . It is almost impossible to hear your name called from the other side of the big room. My way of handling it when a name is called which I cant understand-if no one get up--then it must be me. Certainly there must be a better way.

She explained her clinical findings and offered treatment that has restored my hearing significantly. When I arrived I could not hear 110 db, the equivalent of a jet engine. Three series of intros tympanic injections a few months later, my hearing loss went from profound to moderate. Her guidance and insights for future ear protection has proved invaluable. This was my second visit to Dr. Chandrasekhar, and both times I waited an hour to be seen. The staff was not apologetic or helpful. There is something wrong with the office management when wait times are this long consistently. Not sure I would recommend this physician although she is totally qualified and pleasant.
