When I first met Dr.Jazini I was experiencing increasing pain throughtout my neck, shoulders. arms and hands. Another physician had been giving me injections in both shoulders with very minimal results. Dr. Jazini's physical assessments and tests revealed the problem was bulging discs in my neck. I am currently two weeks post op from a cervical fusion with two disc replacements and my pain free. Everything about my experience and care has been totally state of the art while caring and personal. I could not recommend Dr. Jazini and his staff more highly.

Dr Jazini works at the Virginia Spine Institiute. They first evaluate via a NP and then Dr Jazini sees you. On initial consultation they conducted an onsite X-ray of my entire neck and back. After this I was sent for an MRI of my cervical and thoracic spin and from that and my x-rays, the diagnosis was consistent with my understanding of my prior injuries which occurred while flying jets in the US Navy. He took time to explain that I likely had a small fracture in my C-4 bone and that the MRI showed a small tear in the disc between the C-4 and C-5 joint. He prescribed Naproxen and 12 physical therapy sessions. He demonstrated a quick yet through evaluation and was willing to listen. He talks quickly and exudes a presence that builds the caring and confidence in his evaluation and diagnosis. I would recommend him to others I know if they have problems with their neck or back.

Dr. Jazini is professional, straight-forward, and results oriented. I went from debilitating pain and a feeling of uselessness due to worn out C6/C7 and C5/C6 discs. Dr. Jazini removed the fragments and implanted state of the art artificial discs. The moment I woke from surgery, the debilitating pain from behind my shoulder blade was gone. Two weeks out as I write this, I am able to move my head in every direction with just minimal stiffness. I went from a pain level of a 10 to a pain level of less than 1 and have my movement and quality of life restored.

Dr. Jazini removed the fragments and implanted state of the art artificial discs. The moment I woke from surgery, the debilitating pain from behind my shoulder blade was gone. Two weeks out as I write this, I am able to move my head in every direction with just minimal stiffness. I went from a pain level of a 10 to a pain level of less than 1 and have my movement and quality of life restored.

I saws three different surgeons before proceeding with the surgery, and of all, he was the only surgeon who could perform the two level disk replacement surgery that I needed done. Even though some doctors may want to go the disk fusion route, and having had a fusion done myself in the past, the disk replacement is superior to disk fusion in every aspect. This is true in my own experience, and has been the same finding in many medical research papers as well. The staff here is very professional and helpful as well. Everyone will do everything they can to make sure you are taken care of, from scheduling, to PAs, to billing, etc. If ten stars rating is an option, I would be very comfortable rating Dr. Jazini and his staff at ten stars out of five!

Saw Dr. J for the first time this spring with severe leg pain and lower back pain. He did the prudent thing and ordered physical therapy and gave me an injection where the nerve damage was suspected. Soon after, the pain was back. So, Dr. J recommended surgery and within one week, it was done. I am just under 3 months post-op and feel fantastic!

I came to Dr. Jazini seeking relief from constant severe neck pain shooting into my arms with worsening muscle weakness. The whole process was clearly explained upfront. Dr. Jazini and his well trained staff walked me through the entire process. Now 2 weeks after the surgery my pain level has come down to a 2 from 8-9. No arm pain.
