The Dr. answered my questions on the glaucoma status and assisted me with a possible new condition starting to manifest itself by explaining the condition, it's likely causes, and provided a letter of recommended tests to my primary care physician to determine the cause. The experience with the provider was Outstanding. However, my problem is getting to and from the Brownwood office. I can't seem to find my way out the same was as I go into the complex. I don't know what road I was on when I left the complex (I couldn't see very well because of the drops. Then I got to Buena Vista and I knew where I was. It was scary. I might have to find another provider. I am 84, still drive, but not for too many more years, and I have no one to provide transportation. It is a big problem for me.

The entire visit was accomplished in exactly one hour with waiting times no more than 5-10 minutes. A truly exceptional performance on everyone’s part!, for which I am truly grateful.

Dr. Causey saved my eye. He correctly diagnosed my eye problem as Ocular Herpes, which will cause blindness in the eye if not properly treated. It is the same virus that causes shingles. He started me on a treatment program with medication and eye drops to fight the virus. When the pharmacy declined the medication he helped to get the medication approved for me. It took a few months, I even had to wear a contact lens for a while, but with his persistence and knowledge, we were able to beat the virus. Now my eye is back to normal and I will be forever grateful to Dr. Causey. Thank You Dr. Causey
